pretty much under control. very quickly, suddenly, we see as it gets a lot brighter, a lot hotter, and a lot more dangerous. flames start really licking out of the door as it gets more and more intense. >> look how calm and cool the firefighters are. >> a couple of guys start getting close to the door to try and attack. but there's a flash in the guy's face. these guys get driven back. there are three firefighters inside. two of them upstairs. the other one you're about to see as he comes out that front door right there. crawling out away from that fire. you'll be happy to know that all three of those firefighters had minor injuries. there were three others in the house taken to hospital. but they were fine because they had been alerted by smoke alarms. here, i hate to say, is another one. couple guys running down the street. see a little bit of a selfie as he's trying to make his way through traffic. he is on a mission, it looks at first, to be getting away. but no, his smile tells us a little bit of a different story. he's actually after somebody. once he catches up with the person he's after, you'll soon see what's going on. see that guy running down the street? a group of skateboarders spotted him stealing a cell phone from somebody. so they took up pursuit and went after him. here's the moment they catch up with the alleged thief. here, there's the phone back. but they're not happy with that. get the phone. now the rest of the skaters deliver a bit of street justice to this guy. they're not just going to let him go. they start going out. >> the thing is, we have seen so much violent crime and so many snatch videos and things like that, you can see right here the

community is over it. they know the eyes of the world are on them. you got the olympics coming up. looks like they've just had enough. >> it looks like they gave him a really solid scare. they kind of pushed him around a little bit, but it doesn't look like they injured him too much which was i was a bit oi afraid of. they didn't do that. he does walk away. i think now he's going to think twice before doing this again. >> they rough him up a bit. he escape through traffic on the other side of the road. whatever is in his backpack is now theirs. this little 5-year-old has stolen my heart. his name is evan. you can see that evan is not like other little boys. he has har la quinn, it makes the skin grow ten times faster

than it should. >> does it hurt? >> it doesn't hurt. this is him when he was born. his parents found out he had this condition two days before he was born. >> it was scary hearing the information that was available at that time. >> that would be devastating for any family. but this little boy is now 5 years old. he does need extra care. bathing is very important for them. he also has to have ointment put all over his entire body. >> he can't sweat, so he can overheat very easily. he can have seizures. he rarely complains about anything. >> so this also affects his mobility. >> it does affect his mobility. mom still has play time and outdoor time with him. and he does go to school. >> i've gone to the school quite a few times to teach the students, if they are cure just about what's going on with his skin.

he's right up in the front row helping me teach the other students. >> it's great that this family has shared their story. somebody else out there seeing this must find comfort in knowing that there are other people out there and can help each other deal with this. >> videos like this create awareness amongst all of us. instead of creating negativity towards them, create positivity by embracing them. >> a lot of people watch and go, how, how do people do this, how do the parents, how do the child. you always just see the enthusiasm and the positivity from the child. in this video, it's just glowing through. >> i want evan to be somebody that people can look up to, somebody that people can say, wow, he's got a lot of challenges, but he can definitely be a big positive influence for a lot of people. because life is so complicated that even folding your own clothes can be a little
