israel continues to take a stance against palestinians fallowing the death of four israelis this week by two palestinian man. all of this happening during ramadan, islam's holiest month of the year.

police are only allowing people 45 years or older into jerusalem to pray. today, state department spokesman mark toner called for compromise. >> the dynamic is that we don't want to see any further escalation of tensions.>> among the measures, israel has suspended 83,000 permits for entering during ramadan, a measure the united nations human rights commission chief called collective punishment and against international law. police in dallas say an officer shot and wounded a man who was hitting a woman's car with a rock. this is happening at the curb in front of other passengers.>> part of the encounter was caught on video.>>reporter: the calm of a routine day in dallas was, love field was shattered

by gunshots. a man was shot and wounded outside baggage claim, after he allegedly attacked a woman and then threatened an officer with a rock. officials say the officer had no choice. >> he was able to separate himself from the individual, the individual came towards him again. >>reporter: details are still sketchy, police described the attack as domestic. the man was reportedly throwing rocks at a car, belong to the mother of his children. police still investigating what prompted the incident. the good news is, no one else was hurt. >> there were no children in the car. we believe the suspect is the father of the victim's children. her condition is fine. >>reporter: the incident caused major delays at the airport. some passengers, who had boarded were forced to deplane. airport officials hampered by the investigation and a
