we started bike touring first in europe and alps and iceland and later for a few months in south america and canada, alaska. i took a lot of pictures. i love. this i realized i wanted to do this for a living. >> i feel that's one of the most difficult jobs you have as a photographer because when you go out to nature, how do you translate that in a photograph? you have to worry about so many elements to be push the right button. >> that's what makes a great photographer. so many of us have taken a cture of something and just make it look awful. you see somebody with the right eye and skill and equipment, they can make it look incredible. >> what is really interesting about what he does is that he has the ability to go to place that's people will never see. and give us a window into like. he is on assignment. for this trip, he's able to relax. he said landscape photography offers balance for him. >> i like photography where everything is fast paced and 4,000 images o some days and here i'm out and i'm taking my
