something new every year to keep people so interested? >> luckily i keep my eye on some of the new cameras coming out. the only reason we could make this film is sony came up with this new camera that allows you to basically see in the dark. that's the great thing. lights affect their behavior. >> what's been the most fascinating that you've learned about her? >> sharks are incredibly well equipped to hunt in the dark. i think the seal spot, well if you leave in the dark and go out and hunt for our fish, the sharks can't see it, can't detect it. but the sharks outsmarted the seals. >> what happens to make someone jump in the water then, in those circumstances, you know -- >> sometimes you have to get close -- >> so there's somebody at home who has never seen shark week how would you sell it to them? >> it's the best entertainment on elevation. i mean it's real. it's scary. it's educational. it's just a great thing to watch. it's fun to hang out with your friends and watch it. >> check out shark week on
