doesn't. >> rescuing any kind of animal out of this empty dempster is an easy job. rescuing any kind of animal out of a full dumpster is quite a challenge especially if that dumpster is full of stuff from an apartment complex remodel and that's what l.a. animal services had to deal with. they sent in their smart team that's a specialized mobile animal rescue team to get two kittens from the very bottom of this thing. now the black cat, that was the lucky one. they had quite a job trying to get that kitten out because think about it, they couldn't take all that stuff off because it could collapse and fall down on to the kitten. their goal was to rescue it. and that they did. but here you can see video of the kitten underneath all that stuff. >> they got one of those little rescue camera things. they got everything. >> the smart team does not come to play games. you're also going to see them

break out their heavy power taos because right here that dumpster is locked and there are two locks, so they can't open the door easily, and just take that kitten out. they have to break into it to get the cat out. once they figured out where it is. >> if something ever happens to me, call the smart team. >> rescue me. >> the black cat is just in a situation. >> they carefully open the door and then very easily -- >> oh, gosh. >> there they are. again, unweaned. they're being nursed back to health and they will be made available for adoption. i just say, really good on them. >> i've taken up a bunch of american pastimes since i moved here. fireworks on july fourth. i bought a pickup truck. i talk way too loud in airports and restaurants. one of my favorites is tubing.

why wouldn't you love tubing? like this guy out on the river in zion park, utah. everybody knows, all americans know no matter how many shoes, sunglasses and cameras you have at the beginning there's going to be significantly less of them when you get to the end. >> mm-hmm. not a fun trip if you don't lose something. >> pushing this shocking rapid that is about a foot high. >> wait for the camera to pan pass sunglasses and things down there. >> i did that. i went to the video, i think i spotted some coins. that's about it. eventually, comes back out of the water. doesn't seem to work. let's be honest he's probably chilled out quite nicely. >> one of the worst parts about air travel -- >> on the plane and the plane hasn't taken off and you're wondering what is going on. >> sometimes, it seems like this on a flight from atlanta to l.a.x., see some officers

trying to get to your desti destination and someone is holding you up? oh. i can tell no one's -- >> plus their kids and cursing and shouting. get off the flight. nobody has time for this. >> you have to imagine that something was done serious enough, two officers don't show up on a plane for no good reason. >> let's head on up into the sky. >> to be out there paragliding. this guy, the one we're flying with, he's going to fly right under what he's telling -- >> just going to sneak up on the plane right under them. >> seems very -- >> your flight. isn't that enough of a thrill? >> apparently not. before you know it he's directly below the other pair gliders getting one heck of a kick out of it. >> you know as well --

>> fortunately, he didn't have an incident and it worked. >> what didn't quite work so well was for this pair glider over here trying to get his wings up. he does. he lives that canopy and starts taking off. i think things are going really well for him. until they're not. >> it's amazing how tough they can be when they're that high off the ground. >> yeah it was bad enough to sprain his angle. >> that sucks. >> sprain your ankle. >> how are you landing? was it -- >> trying to take off. >> it's probably going to be a few weeks before he's able to get back in the sky. but i have no doubt in my mind he's going to get back out there. >> a 4-year-old boy is standing on the edge of that balcony

>> i think the 4-year-old climbed over this balcony looking for his mother because he couldn't find her. i'm not sure where the mother is. you can see once the rescuer gets down there, picks the child up and bring them back inside. you're wondering, is there no parent here? surely that rescue would have been as simple as someone just getting the child back in. >> so while the rescue went well and the child is fine, it does, to me, open up some questions as to how this child was left in a situation where it could get itself there. >> in the u.s. we're so used to child safety gates. do they have the same standards in china that we are so used to? >> that's exactly the question. socially, as well, do these people take the same steps in other countries? we don't know. in this case let's just be happy the child is fine. >> never in my wildest dreams think i would have such an oral fixation for the licking guy.

hour on snow is actually the easiest part. and you can see where this race earns its name mountain from hell. >> ooh. >> ooh. >> and this is recent. this isn't winter so basically the lower they get down on the hill, the less snow there's going to be. >> yes. right. >> hard-core mountain biking through mud, and dirt, and slush and all kinds of other gross stuff. we're riding with fabian, back to snow, back to dirt, back to some really sketchy sections. now they're into some jumps here, and every inch of this course looks like it's going to kill you. the whole time his lungs working at maximum capacity here. then the course gets even gnarlier over this chunky rock section. >> oh. >> oh! >> how do you navigate that? >> i don't know. manages to get himself out of that. every moment of this video is fascinating and fun to watch. >> and i've got to give the dude some credit. he's owning this course.
