today was a lot cooler than we've seen in previous days. >> that fog is not just a big drop off but temperatures drop off. we could deal with all the extreme temperatures and it is out of his we are looking good into the weekend and into next week. take a look at the highs a few days ago, tuesday 105 degrees in concord, santa rosa 100, san francisco 91 degrees. san francisco is a 90s for three days in a row. today though a big drop off, concord 87, sent san francisco 30 degrees colder than tuesday. so you see what is happening for tomorrow. the morning cause a partly sunny skies ever sunday, father's day, little bit warmer. a little bit more earlier clearing times the second half of the weekend. right now we have a typical summer type pattern of the low clouds hugging the coastline and pushing back into the bay.

you could see the 50s already san francisco, half moon bay in upper 50s for oakland in hayward. fairly warm towards concord and fairfield holding onto lower 70s. looking outside to the golden gate, a fog is making a comeback. it looks like we have some clean but the clouds will eventually win out overnight for a very cloudy saturday morning. just takes a little bit of change in the marine layer to impact the temperatures with the deeper marine layer. it will have it cooler saturday forecast for most areas. out in the pacific this area of low pressure is approaching the coastline so with that, drop off in the numbers for tomorrow's highs in the 60s and 70s. and then we are warming backup as you can see coming up into the beginning sunday and into next week we are thinking maybe some 90s well inland.

that's another warming trend headed our way. not a major event we went through a few days ago. overnight lows, and the 50s and you can see the fog near the coast near the bay and the clouds clear back to near the coastline but still left over patches for san francisco, tomorrow afternoon in temperatures keeping it cool for the beaches. temperatures inland in the 70s and maybe some neighborhoods with 80 degrees towards brentwood. san francisco 62, santa rosa 73. san jose is 72, gilroy 77 in the coast mainly in the upper 50s. here's a look ahead your 5 day forecast for one of the cooler days tomorrow and the we will gradually bump up by sunday for father's day. clearance kinds on the coastline and it does look like the warming trend will continue into next week for monday, tuesday and wednesday but hopefully we will keep those triple digit temperatures out of the area. >> it is a good-looking forecast i will take it.
