receive a mass, hand sanitizer and a temperature check. still, the head of the city's health department warrants the risks are high and had urged delaying the event. >> anyone planning attend a large-scale gathering faces an increased risk of becoming infected with covid-19. >> reporter: tulsa's republican mayors voicing concerns. he is expecting over 100,000 people in the area and declared a civil emergency. but the tulsa police announce the mayor is resending the order after speaking with president trump. the president warns protesters "will not be treated like you have been in new york, seattle or minneapolis." hinting they could experience rough treatment. >> he means violent protesters and anarchists and looters. >> reporter: there was a juneteenth commemoration less than a mile from the arena on friday where the reverend al sharpton had a message for the president. >> as you come on the weekend of juneteenth, address your policies, of how you attend to close the race gap in america. >> reporter: the oklahoma supreme court ruled this rally

can go on after a lawsuit was filed trying to mandate attendees wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart. the u.s. district attorney of new york who was investigating present trump's attorney announced he will step down. attorney general bill barr announced that geoffrey berman was resigning but in a statement hours later, berman said he never resigned and said he would not leave his post. berman is leading the investigation into business dealings of the present's attorney rudy giuliani. prosecutors are looking into suspected campaign-finance violations. today, attorney general barr said president trump had fired berman which led to a statement released by berman and it reads "in light of attorney general war's decision to respect the normal operation of law and have deputy u.s. attorney audrey strauss, i will be leaving the office for the southern district of new york

effective immediately. it has been my honor, of a lifetime, serve this u.s. district attorney and as a custodian of its proud legacy." a judge, in washington dc, ruled that former national security advisor john bolton can publish his book even though the white house attempted to block the release. the federal judge ruled that while bolton's book raises national security concerns, the government has not proven that the book would be too dangerous to the public. among other relevant relations, bolden claimed that president trump had asked china's president to help in the 2020 election. bolden described the president has someone, "for getting elected was the only thing that mattered." protesters at san francisco's golden gate park brought down statues. more controversy beyond these

statues. this included significant damage to golden gate park. every dollar we spent cleaning up this vandalism takes funding away from actually supporting our community including our african-american community. the mayor said the city is evaluating public art and who the city honors should reflect the community's values. demonstrators across the country continue to pull down confederate another contentious statues. last night, protesters toppled a statue of a porcupine in the judiciary square neighborhood in washington dc i pack he was a senior officer in the confederate states army. others argue that they are racist symbols of america's dark legacy of slavery. how a community is traumatize. when you think about violence, violence begets violence. in north carolina, protesters used straps to pull down to statues of confederate soldiers. both sculptures were at the state capitol in downtown raleigh.

protesters marched down the street with those statues and hung them from a light post. demonstrations of all kinds are happening across the bay area this weekend. some as we speak. one event happened this morning. it was called salutations and solidarity and it happened in san francisco. the participants were told to bring a yoga mass, where mask and black clothing. all money raised goes to a donation based event, or organization supporting the black lives matter movement. a march for freedom was held today at noon. it began at the san francisco ferry building. demonstrators held signs, sang songs and chanted they are asking for more police accountability and prison reform.

the march was hosted by american leaders in march for peace. demonstrators marched in berkeley today calling for an into police violence and white supremacy. the march started in front of the berkeley police department and ended at the macarthur station. the event was organized by 16- year-old student and was held in remembrance of those who lost their lives to police brutality and white supremacy. back in san francisco's japan town, dozens show support for the black lives movement. it was a family-friendly event that displayed solidarity and demanded racial justice. participants hung signs. it was organized by the japan town justice coalition which hopes to hold more events in the future. we want to keep this conversation going about racial justice. for the next several weeks, we are airing a new program called

concern is mounting as the coronavirus spreads among inmates in san quentin. there were no cases of covid-19 at the prison last month. in late may, 121 inmates from chino were transferred and mixed with the general population. now, 159 prisoners and more there 30 staffers have tested positive for the virus. critics say the inmates from chino were not properly screened. the chino prison has been hit hard by covid-19. more than 500 cases have been reported. 16 inmates have died. alameda county and the city of berkeley are joining other bay area counties enlisting children place restrictions. i knew how porter went into effect on friday. >> reporter: there's a lot to

you're at the coast, it will be a cloudy start. it will be tough to get sunshine, we go up to 67 degrees. the bay should be gorges at 76. and inland, we could see spots reach up into those low 90s. let's take you through the future cast. we take it across tomorrow morning. that is a 7 am forecast with coastal fog, but by noon, there you go. we have a sunshine and. there we go overnight on monday. monday at 8 am, same story, it clears out. that will be the case for the next couple of days. what we'll see, when the high pressure gets closer to the coast, it will make this inland community warm up more. monday, tuesday and wednesday, noticed the inland temperatures going up into the mid-90s around the bay. hey, it will be beautiful. check it out, about 79-80 degrees.
