about the cease-fire deal. we know negotiators wrapped at meetings on friday and they will resume those talks again this week in cairo, egypt. during the conversations the united states submitted a bridging proposal to bring israel and hamas closer to a deal, a joint statement released by the egyptians and the american said the meetings were serious constructive and conducted in a positive atmosphere. today the u.s. secretary of state anthony lincoln will arrive in israel where he is slated to be monday with israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu and what president biden said late last week the parties were closer than ever to a cease-fire deal. initial leaks tell a different story. thomas is still upset about the status of the proposed agreement and has continuously said the americans can negotiate in good faith because they are supplying israel with weapons. last we $20 billion in weapons sales were approved by the by demonstration, most of it will be used to deter and possibly fight you mean in the largest proxy the backed group launches

of the price gouging and housing $25,000 to a number of first-time home buyers so let's walk through some of that. on the issue of the price gouging, there is a lot of pushback from economists across the board, one says this, when your opponent calls you a communist, maybe don't proposed price controls they say that could lead to shortages black markets and hoarding and he could actually raise prices and here's the economist on that. >> please explain to me how ms. harris' policies are not in fact aligning with the communist ideology. talk about trying to artificially set prices on carpets food or rent, you name it. if you employ the same policies that we have had in these other communist countries around the world, we will get the same results here. >> the federal government tried in the 1970 senator, you know it did not end well. an economist across the political spectrum say its a bad idea.

democrats have argued. >> that's frankly just not true. the corporate tax rate and by reducing taxes on the wealthiest americans. the dollar benefits talking percentages in terms of the dollar benefits, it's the wealthiest americans that benefit enormously, here's the bigger point it exploded our deficits, the national deficit and the increase in the national debt was greater under four president trump that has been under president biden, and we need to find a path forwar d that pays for the tax incentive we are talking about. i would vote, i believe vice president harris with supports for allowing some of those 2017 tax cuts to sunset as a way to increase things like

the child tax credits, incentives for the production of more affordable housing, and incentives for things like child care, and a first child which are a key piece of the world's economic proposal that was rolled out this week. >> will turn to foreign policy i want to make sure we had on this is what we haven't heard pretty much of the vice president on this, a chief would be a very full table for her should she come into it, sunday she tried the administration handling now there's been a lot of attention when it came to afghanistan the way and timing in the way in which that withdrawal was done, she has stood by that decision and i want to play something she said when asked about in 2021. >> president biden always said he wanted you to be the last person for big decisions just as he was for president obama he just made a very big decision. afghanistan. >> yes. >> reviewed the last person in the room? >> yes. >> do you feel comfortable? >> i do. >> she stands by that and of course tragically lost 13 young american service members and many more were injured and we left tens of thousands of people behind that we told them we are going to get out of the country, question american voters trust or as commander in chief if she stands by that foreign policy decision?

>> two things, we have worked hard on a bipartisan basis to give support for those who served in afghanistan alongside us and to continue to get them out of the country. tens of thousands have come to the united states over the past two years and i think we need to continue to make sure african -- afghans come to united states and they can get the support they deserve for the fight they were involved in alongside our brave troops for some years and second i was with vice president harris at the munich security conference earlier this year and the previous year where she gave strong clear enforceable speeches about the importance of nato. the importance of fighting for democracy, something j.d. vance does not agree with that we need to continue to push back on aggression in russia and to strengthen our alliances around the world. the only time needle deploys in defence of another new donation was to afghanistan on behalf of the united states. that's a one-time article five was invoked and nato troops were

deployed was after 9/11. and i think the way we do our best for the memory of those americans and those nato troops who served in the ultimate sacrifice in afghanistan was to continue to strengthen the alliance as president biden has an vice president harris well into not abandon our partnerships and our alliances with the mocker seas as far president trump has threatened to do. if you ask the former president secretary of defence, national security advisor and chief of staff, a decorated marine veteran himself, they are all not voting for donald trump. there is a core reason for that. they will think you should be anywhere near the oval office again and i would encourage you to ask j.d. vance about what donald trump said just this week about the congressional medal, something denounced. >> i have a lot of questions for the center coming up but this is the visual we have this week. three years out from the air base we have the taliban

in a weaponize justice system. that will not win him a single vote he doesn't already have. you know the faithful are with you, what more can and should your campaign be doing to reach beyond those boundaries? >> first of all i think investor haley is right that we need to reach a broad group of voters by think we are doing that. if you look at what they've been singing the rallies and what i've been doing my rallies in my press events as you been making a very simple arguments that kamala harris became president or vice president i should say, she calls policies that to a rapid increase in inflation and a rising chaos around the world went ultra was president we had stable prices and prosperity in higher pay for american workers and we had piece across the world. the contrast is remarkable and importantly they we have a vision for being on energy costs and food costs in making housing more affordable for american citizens. we have been running on that and

the media has been giving kamala harris a three-week lovefest but the unfortunate thing for here is his/her record is her record and we'll prosecute the case with peace and prosperity in kamala harris cause chaos and lower take-home pay anything we get that message out there shannon i feel very confident the american people will elect donald trump presidents. >> want to get to some of the policy and will bid on the campaign, a lot has been made that they were returning to the campaign, president trump is well-known for doing some shake-ups in the summer leading up to his elections in 2016 and 2020, here is the analysis from "washington post". they say with so many seeking his confidence, there is one thing no one will tell him. what's most needed fixing is the candidate himself. he says he's had these conversations with the president and he's open and receptive to its, are there any more changes needed? >> anyone who knows president trump knows he listens everybody i think it's one of

his great strength as a leader is he solicits the opinion from his campaign staff he's trying to get feedback from everybody because the action wants to understand where the american people are on the issues of the day. bolo calculus no one of his rallies, go to his north carolina rally from a few days ago. he was talking about americans suffering under higher prices, he was talking about the need to bring down housing prices so young people can afford to get a home. he was talking about the need to bring groceries down to the level that they were at when he was president shannon because normal americans could afford to put a nice meal on the table and these are very simple things and i think a lot of people who were giving donald trump advice would do well to understand that donald trump is carrying the message out there to the american people every single day. i am doing it every single day, we are just going to keep on doing it for the next 80 days and that's how we persuade the american people to elect donald trump as an ex-president of the united states. that's at the campaign is all

about. i think we are very receptive to feedback but at the end of the day, if you look at our messaging we are focused on the issues americans care about and we are going to keep on doing that. >> or fox news polling -- of the economy is an able issue and people do give you all the edge on that and yes, this is what we have out from new polling with "the new york times" they say ms. harris is now leading mr. trump among -- among likely voters and it's even edged ahead of trump in north carolina saying he won for years ago while narrowing his lead significantly in georgia and nevada. what is the administration doing with the campaign with that data as it comes in, these are critical states he have to have are there any pivots? are there any reconfiguring of what you're doing? you talk with the message but is it planned? >> obviously two things about this, theoretic -- overstates we sell it during the polling and summer 2016.

a lot of these fuels were wrong when it came to election day and the number -- theo thing i will say shannon as we see kamala harris got a bit of a sugar high a couple weeks ago but what we have actually seen is that they have are you levelled off the talk to insiders in the kamala harris campaign they are very worried about where they are because the american people just don't buy the idea that kamala harris has been vice president for three and a half years and somehow she will tackle the inflation crisis in a way tomorrow that she hasn't the past 1300 days. giving kamala harris control over inflation policy shannon, it's a giving jeffrey epstein control over human trafficking policy the mega people are pretty much smarter than that they don't buy the idea that kamala harris represents a fresh start, she's more of the same. it's with the failed policies of the harrison administration to give kamala harris a promotion rather then to fire her which is what i think most americans will do on november -- in november. >> how does that not line up

with another post we got that "washington post" is giving them a 45-point lead. those are new numbers so if you think the momentum is not swinging with the internal polls are suggesting differently, every other poll that's been released has shown great momentum in her direction. >> shannon i think there's a lot of polls that show her stagnating and leveling off of course, abc and "washington post" was a wildly inaccurate poll through the summer of 2020 and look, if you see the numbers we are seeing any actually talk to the american people, i feel externally confident we'll be at the right place in november. we can't worry about the polls if the run to the finish line and we encourage you want to get out there and vote. but it will be very simple. if you want to get back to the peace and prosperity, the rising take-home pay. if you want to double down on the failed policies that have delivered the higher food prices kamala harris has been vice president for three and a half years and i know they will

make the problem worse at the american people are getting a promotion. the thing we have to remember, one final point, going to say one final point on there shannon because i think it's important. consistently what you have seen in 2016 and 2020 is the media uses fake polls to drive down republican turnout and create dissension and conflict with the public and voters. i am telling you, every single person who's watching this, the trump campaign and is in the very good spots. we're going to win this race we just have to run to the finish line. >> i want to give you a chance to respond to some of this back-and-forth with the issues. this is what they had to say about your ticket is planning for america. >> he plans to get billionaire's massive cuts year after year. and he plans to cut corporate taxes by over a trillion dollars. even as they pull and record profits. and that's on top of the two trillion dollar tax cut he are descended into law when he was

president. >> shells talked with the plans for tariffs you hurt senator koons talk about and they said those tariffs along with the mass deportations i would impact the workforce would also drive up prices for americans. >> i don't buy that argument shannon because trump was already presidents and he brought back 12,000 factories built during the administration and prices were low in the take-home pay was high. the entire argument of the kamala harris campaign boils down to forget how good things were when donald trump was president, forget we had rising take-home pay and low inflation, forget we had peace all over the world and somehow, if you give kamala harris more power than charity has, she somehow will do summing different than she has done for the past three and a half years shannon. the most absurd thing that can less says at her rallies is on day one i'm going to tackle the food and housing affordability crisis in this country.

wrong direction. he leads on the issue whose butter on the economy. who is the better on inflation. >> sp brought that up. >> that's all the numbers for him but today, he's behind. why is he behind? he's making this race about things other then the three big issues in this campaign. the economy, inflation, in immigration. you can go out and touch on those things but he will say something that will pop up dismissing the medal of honour winners saying the economy is not a major issue and he secures his message because of the fundamentals. this will remain big on the ticket. great movement towards the harris campaign with july 21st and today but think about this, if you take the real clear politics and reach of the battleground states trump leads in nevada, north carolina and georgia with the politics average. harris leads in arizona michigan wisconsin, that leaves the recent 257 votes for trump, 262

your attack as a communist don't go for communist policies well, to me that's ridiculous. you think about the reality, she is saying to the american voter i am with you, i think a lot of these big corporations have huge profits and i'm going to stand with you against the price gouging and i'm going to stand with you in terms of child care tax credits, that's a message more than an economic policy. you contact the -- attack the proposal but i think the message to the voters is pretty effective. what we are really experiencing in this moment is when biden was the candidate to win harris was the candidate and she is writing a huge wave. it's unbelievable! pretty when she has not made an error so far. and i think that's what we are dealing with in the question is then where it is the first double calming can she recover from that stumble? >> it's hard to make a stumble of everything scripted. >> on thing that's fair for a candidate that three to half weeks old. i believe the story that joe biden said in the campaign
