washington. there is breaking news out of the middle east. israel says it has recovered the bodies of six hostages in gaza. the israeli military says all six were killed shortly before idf troops attempted to rescue them. among those lost, 23 year old american hersh goldberg-polin, who was taken from the music festival on october 7th, where so many young civilians lost their lives or were captured by hamas terrorists. his parents, john pollen and rachel goldberg, have been high profile aat of all th. speaking out at the democratic national convention in chicago e news, president biden said, quote, hamas leaders will pay for these crimes and that he would, quote, keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages. trey yingst is live at hostage square in tel aviv with the very latest. hello, trey. shannon. good morning. devastating news for the israeli people who woke up to learn that the bodies of six hostages were recovered from

gaza. three of those hostages were setosed as part of a humanitarian exchange once a cease fire was implemented. i'm told among the group was 23 year old american citizen hersh goldberg-polin. president biden released a statement overnight saying he was devastated and outraged, adding that the bodies were recovered from a tunnel underneath rafah. the israeli military says the hostages were executed by hamas. a few hours ago, we updated the families that the bodies of their loved ones were located by idf forces in an underground tunnel in rafah. according to a preliminary assessment available to us, they were brutally murdered by hamas terrorists shortly before we reached them. the horrible news comes as there is a huge effort underway as we speak to get the children of gaza vaccinated against polio. starting today, there will be daily humanitarian pauses in certain parts of the strip to allow for vaccine distribution. this will allow for 640,000
