matthew perry was found dead in his jacuzzi after being injected with ketamine. five people have been charged in his death, including two doctors. now one of them is about to plead guilty before a federal judge cache code names and ketamine. >> these doctors can buy vials of ketamine for $12, and then they turn around and sell them for $2,000 a vial. >> as the feds take down matthew perry's alleged greedy enablers, doctor feelgood's or pill mills are a huge problem in this country. one of the five defendants in the friends star's inner drug circle is in federal court tomorrow. doctor mark chávez is one of two doctors charged in connection with matthew's death. he has accepted a plea deal and is said to be incredibly remorseful after allegedly being contacted by doctor salvador plasencia. >> doctor chávez was a colleague of plasencia. they worked together and he was able to procure the ketamine.

>> nima ramani is a former federal prosecutor. he says chávez could help bring down the hammer on the other defendants by working with feds to right his wrongs. >> having that insider testimon, someone that's willing to flip and testify at trial if necessary, does put a lot of pressure on the remaining co-defendants to plead guilty as well. >> chávez court date, the first in a string of upcoming legal appearances by the remaining four players in the case. >> personally, i have no sympathy for what happens to them in federal prison. >> former prosecutor matt murphy, who spent two decades trying some of the most compelling murder cases in the nation, says the investigation comes down to one woman. >> so there was one central character. she was actually like the dealer, so to speak. >> she is yaz veini. sonia, infamously now known as the ketamine queen. feds say she used her apartment as a stash house to store, package and distribute narcotics to high end celebs. >> when they served the search warrants on her residence, they

found an absolute wealth of evidence and under federal sentencing guidelines, she probably stands the longest sentence. >> sonia has pleaded not guilty. prosecutors claim doctor salvador plasencia, whose home was raided earlier this year, used encrypted messaging apps and coded language to discuss drug deals, referring to ketamine as doctor pepper. cans and bottles. plasencia even allegedly texted this message i wonder how much this moron will pay. he has pleaded not guilty. >> doctor plasencia is apparently still in business and the judge said that he needs to provide some notice to patients that charges are pending. but unless convicted, you can still operate. >> plasencia is accused of supplying drugs to perry's live in assistant kenneth iwamasa, who delivered the fatal dose. >> perry allegedly told him, you know, shoot me up with a big one. >> matthew seedorf is a reporter

this home security camera across the street. >> you can see the gunman pull up in front of the house. what did they say when they walked in? >> they asked for money. >> the start of 18 minutes of sheer terror. jennifer tells police she was in her room upstairs talking on the phone when she hears something strange outside her door. she peeks out the door to find a pistol pointed directly at her. and how many assailants did she claim were in there? three. how would she describe them? >> they were all male, black. >> jennifer hands over $2,500. saved from teaching piano and another $1,100 her mom had hidden in a nightstand. >> hand pan explained that he didn't have any money, or certainly not large quantities of money. >> one assailant, pistol, whips han across the back of his head. jennifer is taken to the second floor and tied up, so her hands were behind her back, and then they were tied to the banister. downstairs, the gunman shoves

didn't want us to be her family. they didn't want us to be together. >> she loved you and would do anything for you. yeah right. >> daniel and jennifer, apparently didn't get their story straight. he tells investigators jennifer indeed wanted her parents dead, and she's just like, don't worry, i got it. and investigators find text messages exchanged with the hitmen, including one that sets up this exact moment captured on home security video from across the street. police believe jennifer turned the light in her bedroom on and off, signaling she's unlocked the front door. >> had the father not survived and had the phone message has not been found, the question remains open about whether she would have been caught at this point in the investigation. >> i'm going to be arresting you for murder. >> daniel wong and the three hitmen are also arrested and charged. all are sentenced to life in prison. the third gunman
