a pathway to citizenship peer preventing pain less than americans and those jobs are requiring proof that they offer those positions to qualified americans and that they want tougher enforcement mechanisms and random audits. is not the kind of thing you think your colleagues can get behind? >> i think there's been a lot of abuse and that's what's driving a lot of this discussion can't be abused that's constant with this where you see qualified americans being denied a lot of these jobs because a company can go and hire cheaper labor from a foreign country peer that's really the abuse. so the reforms presented trumpet forward in 2020 which by the way were cancelled by joe biden had to do with right now it's a lottery peer there is no merit to this it's just a lottery. i.t. companies sometimes put 30,000 applications and hoping to get 10,000 from a random lottery. i think that system needs to be reformed. also undercutting wages by

now the department of government efficiency where do you think you can work with them on cutting government waste queen. >> i've gotten some criticism on my side because i said i'm open to working to cut programs that are not competitive for example the defence budget 56% of discretionary budget dominated by five prams and musk is saying maybe we can disrupt that and have competition with better national security peer there are real proposals to do that than democrats should work with them there are duplicative agencies that are efficient on taxpayer dollars that we should work with him peer what i will not do is support any cuts to social security are medicare are veteran benefits or education programs that parents rely on but there is no doubt waste and where there is ways to we should work in putting the country first.
