>> i started the displays 42 years ago. i wanted to do something for people of all faiths or no faith. i have a passion for christmas, as do my team. we have a great time working together, putting the display on. >> what's the theme this year? >> well, this year is the world celebrates christmas. when you look at the overall picture, the number of people that come through it instills that spirit of christmas in people. [music] you know.

>> i would love to come here every year. this looks very beautiful. i have never seen so many lights before. it said that there was 902,000 2000 lights in here. it looks really beautiful.

>> christmas in the park. it's a two and a half acre park in downtown san jose that has 600 trees that are decorated by the community, about 35 displays that have old fashioned scenes in them. >> constant lights of all colors, pure like everything, seems to be decorated in a unique way. [music] it's like a little mini town

with with lights everywhere, and we got some snow in the background, which is great. it feels like i'm in california. you don't really get, i think, the full christmas experience. so it's nice to bring a little, little bit of it into a little area here. so. [music]

>> we love making this happen. we love bringing smiles to people's faces. we love creating joy and helping them make new memories. >> what do you guys think about the light show? >> it was great. it was fun to see the candy canes and have something kind of in the bay area to go see the lights. >> yeah. what were some of the cool things you did see tonight? >> well, we liked i liked the tunnels and then i liked actually seeing all the history, all the history buildings. >> it was really, really nice.
