longmont police believe the 16- year-old girl was man, 51-year-old thomas fecht-ler... thomas kitchen. police say fechtler is wanted for sexual assault on a child and kidnapping. the girl may have gone with the man willingly, which is why an amber alert issued. they think the pair might be heading to missouri. the missing girl is about 5-feet-3, 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. fechtler may be green 2007 toyota damage.

employee left the agency, and did not say exactly how employees were notified or when. guolee is in the hospital and under arrest. he's expected to make a court appearance january 13th. deputies are trying to figure out what sparked a shooting in adams county. 85-th place. officers tell us one person was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. no word on the victims condition at this time. investigators say a teacher was viciously attacked by a former student in southern colorado. and this morning they're trying to figure out what motivated the incident. investigators believe 19-year-old courtney plante went to her former teacher's house in cotopaxi. she told the teacher her truck broke down. that's when authorities say plante lured him to

overstreet then jumped out of the vehicle and stabbed him several times. investigators say the pair stole the teacher's car and took off. the teacher is expected to surive. overstreet and plante were arrested and taken into custody. we're waiting to hear the identities of two people who were shot to death in littleton. a man and woman were found at the house on south grant street. that's near littleton high school. the man was dead at the scene. the woman was rushed to the hospital where she later died. investigators do not believe there is anyone else involved. charges will not be filed against an off-duty central city police officer who fired his service weapon one time into the motorcycle of a road rage suspect. that suspect will also not face charges. the incident happened back in october in golden. according to a district attorney report, sergeant patrick stanton told authorities he feared for his safety during a struggle with motorcyclist jeremy golden. he said he fired one shot into golden's

to ongoing turmoil in china -- futures are down sharply. for the second time this week, trading in china's markets was halted after stocks tumble more than 7%, triggering automatic circuit breakers. the sell-off there spread to the rest of asia and european markets today. in this country, the dow fell 252 points tuesday on oil and geopolitical concerns. the nasdaq dropped 55. it's the worst three-day start to a year for the dow and nasdaq since 2008. oil prices are off another 5% this morning -- to levels we haven't seen since the early 2000's. concerns about a lack of global demand continue to pound this market. for consumers, low oil prices are welcome news at the gas pump. but lower oil prices are taking a big toll on the u.s. energy industry. energy companies announced more than 258-thsouand layoffs globally in
