>> marty is going to give you a little snow after your birthday is clear for the day. >> i will take that. i love it. around here today, we are anticipating fairly warm day. we start with clouds. we will see things begin to slowly clear later in the day today. high clouds, not only here but in fort collins this morning as we have this little mountain wave as we call it. for us, anticipating light wind up and down i-25, fairly strong winds, going between 45- 55 miles per hour in the foothills and mountains, slacking off in to the 35 miles per hour range later in the day. slight improvement. martin luther king parade, gathering at 9:00 a.m. by the time the parade standards, pushing in to the mid 40s today.

he admitted he reversed a year's old vote. sanders pointing out what he thinks is a too close relationship with wall street after clinton received speaking fees from companies like goldman sacks. experts say it's having an impact. >> bernie sanders could have well to be democrats what ron paul was to republicans in 2008. if his people are as organizeds that sheer number of donors he has indicates he could do damage to the democrat structure. >> i don't see the damage at all. the better sanders does, the more it causes hilary clinton to be introspective and look at her issues. it has taken her left, which is where she needed to go during the primary season and made her a better candidate. >> the last democratic debate

the iowa caucuses begin in two weeks. information can be the key to preventing tragedies. today we will get a significant amount of information about the arapaho high school shooting. the warrior community experienced a loss in 2013 when a student came to school with a gun and started shooting. a student was killed and the gunman turned the weapon on himself. a research group focused on youth development and redestruction problems with schools will report at 9:00 this morning. this report and one repaired on behalf of littleton will be submitted. that's going to happen at the state capitol friday. claire davis' parents have advocated for information to be made public. ahead today, we could learn who was inside a plane when it crashed on the western slope,

the crash happened thursday evening 15 miles west of meeker, and the victim's body was found friday. a witness reported hearing the plane rev engine before exploding flying from salt lake city to grand view. faa and ntsb are investigating the crash. consumers get a choice for traveling between boulder and fort collins. transport the plex ride starts at service today. making five trips a days monday through friday, the routes are express routes, there are limited stops. a day pass costs $3 with one way trips $1.25. they will fothrough a 3-year trial run before they decide permanently. national western stock show is in full spring, bringing lots of visitors to town. greg moss is out there before the crowds show up today.

at the base of foothills, along c470, castle rock, we might get more than an inch. when it happens during the commutes, it is kind of a hassle. broncos first playoff game up with nearly as pretty as it could have been. the first half was all dropped passes. this was the key play that allowed the broncos to win, cornerback, roby poked away a fumble in the middle of the fourth quarter to ware. the only turnover in the whole game, down to 13-12 at that point. offensive line, down the field for a touchdown and 2-point conversion. broncos win the game 23-16. stress levels were high. >> sets the stage for

a 1-4 inches of -- base a little bit with 1-4 inches of new snow. it's unusual to get snow this time of year in an el nino year. i checked out the high country drive conditions, i-70 is doing okay, chains are required. travel times are normal, that volume is light, i would say 6 and 7:00, expect your drive here alongics 70 to really start to pack in. floyd hill, very busy, if you are heading up across vail pass, you are moving through at 50-60 miles per hour, here across the city, we have mostly side street problems this morning, i-70 clear in the metro drive.

denver is going to honor martin luther king jr. gathering at 9:25. it will be a big crowd, 40,000 people were part of the march and parade last year, that was a record. the crowd will held down colfax, things wrap up at civic center park with a big rally there. they will have a nice day for it. tomorrow, a fugitive on the fbi's most wanted list is going to face a judge. milo mason is one of three men known as the screen robbers because they wore the scream masks while committing robberies, carjackings and a shooting. officers arrested two men they say were mason's accomplices, he escaped until this weekend. mason is behind bars on half million dollars bond and captured at the end of last week in thornton. around here this morning, high clouds now, going to be a

hours after the sun comes up. the batch of clouds move to the east, through the morning, should give us a nice warm morning. a lot of snow in idaho, nevada and northern utah, that's going to move in to the mountains tonight's. very chilly to the north and east. decent in the immediate metro area. we are benefiting from nice down sloping winds. thin clouds by early afternoon, thickening up later in the day. snow picks up along the continental divide and starts blowing over the divide in to the peak to peak highway. tomorrow morning, light snow, i have been talking about this, most of us half inch, inch at the most, it will become during the rush hour tomorrow morning. a little bit of a hassle. if you are south of castle rock or the base of the foothills, 1- 2 inches of snow. 50s here, 30s and 40s in the mountains. looking at snow developing in the mountains throughout the
