pakistan. a pakistani leader says the army and police have now cleared all the taliban attackers out of the campus - in the northwest part of that country. 20 people were killed. the taliban told the associated press that 4 attackers assaulted the campus in retaliation for the pakistani security forces killing lots of militants recently. all 4 attackers were killed. the islamic state militants have

sergeant jeffrey sempler mans marine helicopters in hawaii. he spent time to colorado-- after his mom moved to fountain. lori allen says-- when she heard of the collission between two helicopters, last week-- she knew her son was involved. since then-- rescue workers have been searching the waters of the pacific. they haven't found anyone, yet. but lori says-- her son is "driven" enough-- to defy the odds. the will be a vigil, tonight for sergeant sempler in fountain. gary-- his mother says she has moments when she just cries... but she still has hope. this morning - denver police are trying to figure out why a woman stabbed the denver fire chief. chief eric tade is out of the hospital this morning - after witnesses say a woman jumped into his suv near dfd headquarters - and stabbed him. tade was able to get away and get

injuries to his hands and right leg. witnesses pointed marlene zac-e- vich-rodriguez out to officers after the attack... and she was arrested. this is a booking photo from a previous arrest. right now--police aren't sure what provoked the attack. the aurora theater shooter is on the move-- heading to his third prison... but that location is being kept a secret. a spokesperson for the department of corrections will only say... it's not a prison within the colorado d-o-c system. the shooter was moved out of the state pennitentary in canon city after he was attacked by another inmate while they were crossing paths in october. late last year, he was moved to the san carlos correctional facility... a maximum security prison on the campus of the state mental health institute in pueblo. 9news legal expert scott robinson says the mass murderer is moving because there may have been threats to his life. the death penalty will be a big topic of conversation in

6 republicans have filed a bill - meant to make it easier to sentence convicted murderers to death. right now - colorado law requires all 12 jurors to agree on the death penalty - or it's life in prison. that's what happened in 20-15 with the aurora theater shooting case and the faro's bar case - both murderers were sentenced to life in prison. the new bill would require only 9 of the 12 jurors to vote for the death penalty. opponents want the death penalty repealed all together. the bill will have a hard time passing the house - which is controlled by democrats. all the snow that we've been getting has been good for
