he showed up at work after being stabbed multiple times in front of the fire department headquarters. here is news reporter ryan.>> it was unusual.>> reporter: he made a call to a fire division chief. then something unexpected when a woman jumped into the passenger's seat.>> i told him to hold on and that's when the stabbing occurred and he listened to it on the phone. >> reporter: the woman stabbed him several times in the arm and a leg, right in front of the station. >> the scariest thing was being trapped and her being restrained.>> reporter: he jumped out of the car and walked back into work. the woman ran off. >> i think it caught everybody off guard. me too.>> reporter: the suspect was marlene zacevich-

a fire truck crashed into a dairy queen in texas this afternoon. it was not a firefighter behind the wheel. the truck had been repaired and then someone from the repair shop was driving the truck back to the firehouse when the crash happened. the driver of the truck and one person inside the dairy queen were hurt. the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. investigating complaints that the doors will not latch on about 400,000 ford focus compact vehicles. the national highway traffic and safety administration says that drivers have reported problems with door latches. some have said that the door opens while the vehicle is moving. this is model years 2012-2013. it is similar to a problem because the recall last year of 456,000 lincoln mk bees, ford fusion and fiesta models. a new study finds that more young

overhead as well. 37 at the airport right now with mostly cloudy skies and wind out of the north at 10 miles per hour. it feels more like 30 degrees. the wind will be pesky for us as we go through the evening and through tomorrow. i think the worst of it will be early tonight. right now we are looking at cost around 20 miles per hour. broomfield at 28. black hawk at 27. right now the temperatures are at about 41 degrees. tomorrow will be cooler as the nick storm system leaves -- that next storm system loses a little bit of steam. one little blip move through -- moved through earlier this morning and is now in kansas. the second one is pressing on the western slope. everything is south of i-70 right out through lynwood springs and down through the san juans and lake city and telluride. then along the hog back and into the foothills and the high country.

light snow. some bands of snow went through castle rock and the palmer to light -- palmer divide. the accumulation will be and the mountains where the winter weather advisory continues. 5:00 a.m. for the western mountains with an additional 5-10 inches of fresh powder. at 6:00 tonight, things look decent in the metro area. i tomorrow morning, we will have a few clouds across the eastern plains. then it winds down and it packs its bags and moves to the eastern seaboard. high pressure built into the region and that will allow for a big warm up for us friday and into saturday. the storm system is on the move and it will be messy for our neighbors across the east coast as they are bracing for a very impactful storm. in fact, we will see impressive snowfall amounts out toward washington, dc and the baltimore area.

models are indicating potentially 2 feet of snow in some localized areas. it's going to be a wild storm. here at home, teens and the low 20s. single digits and leadville and gunnison. we may have an isolated snow shower, but i would not count on much. a few morning clouds tomorrow and the afternoon temperatures will be a bit cooler and it will be gusty from time to time. 30s for most of eastern colorado. the western slope as well. a few spots in the 40s like boulder and arvada. wellington in the mid-30s. there is the warm up that i was saturday. then another storm system pushes in on sunday and it looks like it will cool us off and continue to bring light snow through monday as well. a little bit of everything for everyone.>> you aim to please everybody. >> i am trying. manning versus brady. have you ever wondered about the relationship between the two future hall of famers?>>

he is extremely talented. he is a very hard worker and very competitive. he plays his position the right way. when you do that, there is a reason you play for a long time and you play well for a long time. there have been a lot of players that have played in all 16 of those games, but as the great honor and privilege to compete against him that many times over the course of the past 16-17 years. he and i have been in the league together. especially somebody is gratis him to play against. those peyton manning led teams, , you know you're in for a tough game.
