a second teen, who had fallen through the ice nearly two weeks ago... has died. max gantnier was one of two survivors pulled out by rescuers on january 14th... he was in the hospital until his death yesterday afternoon. the other survivor was released from the hospital hours after the accident. patrick lantz died the day they fell into the pond. he was under the water for 35 minutes. lantz will be laid to rest today. the douglas county school district crisis team will be at legend high today for counseling. president obama plans to pitch some

proposals to expand access to retirement savings accounts. the move could give more than 30 million people access to retirement savings accounts. the biggest chunk of that increase would happen through legislation requiring employers that don't offer a retirement plan to automatically enroll their workers in an ira in exchange for a 3- thousand dollar tax credit. some well known airlines in denver are bumping up their super bowl- bound flights. they want to meet the demands of broncos' hometown fans. jetblue has added two flights between denver and san francisco... southwest airlines is adding three nonstop flights. denver international is southwest's fourth-busiest operation and it's the fastest- growing market for the airline. southwest did not add any super bowl-related flights for its operation serving the home market of the carolina panthers. the broncos will join an elite club in two weeks. they'll be playing in their eighth super bowl...

police officer shot a dog. chloe, a three- year-old dog was shot five times after she got loose in november 2012. police said she ran agressively toward the officers... a video from neighbors showed the dog cowering and trying to escape. the payout will go to chloe's owner. it's believed to be the biggest financial settlement in u-s history for the death of someone's pet. it's a cheesy problem that police in wisconsin need to solve. someone got away with a semi-truck loaded with 90- thousand dollars worth of parmesan the cheese was in 40-pound blocks so it won't fit in a regular fridge! no one knows who cheese - or where in a different wisconsin town last week, 70- thousand dollars of parmesan cheese similar way... but so connected the

relentless rain in california is causing dangerous conditions along the coast. a drone captured video of the moment this cliff side fell into the ocean... this is about 15 minutes outside san francisco! parts of it had already fallen away away - over here. now - a total of three apartment buildings are hanging off the edge and they are no longer safe to live in because of the erosion. children in flint, michigan will get free lead exposure testing today... in the latest attempt to discover just how bad the water crisis is there. the tap water in flint is contaminated with lead... making the

the contamination is linked to a switch in water sources... a cost cutting measure by the state several years ago. during the last several weeks, the national guard has been handing out bottled water. michigan's top prosecutor says... his office might take action to stop billing for the water utilities... he called it an "outrage" people in flint are paying bills for water they can't drink. today - most of the presidential candidates will be campaigning in iowa. there are 6 days left before the iowa caucuses. on the republican side: ted cruz, mike huckabee, marco rubio, carly fiorina, donald trump and ben carson all have events scheduled. as for the democrats, bernie sanders will speak to a union while hillary clinton holds three "get out the caucus" events. clinton, sanders and martin o'malley took questions from the audience at a town hall forum in iowa last night. sanders re-issued his call for implementing a single payer health care system for all americans. he said doing that would lower health insurance premiums... which

teenager is in the spotlight for his piano-playing skills. 18-year-old monntel west says he was waiting to meet a friend at the mall - when he found a piano on display... and started playing. a passerby started recording him - when he began playing "river flows in you" - a

she posted the video online - and it's received hundreds of views. west says he's surprised someone was taping it. surprised to learn: he doesn't have a piano at home - and taught himself now there's an effort online to get him his own piano. this is another amazing story that's taken off online. ludivine the bloodhound escaped her backyard - just as a half-marathon-race was starting near her alabama home. she decided to go with the runners - leading the pack for awhile and then taking 7th place. the pup eventually crossed the finish line with a time of 1-hour-32-minutes and 56-seconds.... that's a 7-minute mile!! race organizers
