we are anticipating a peculiar system moving through this afternoon and tonight will scour out some of that cold air. especially at the base of the foothills and western suburbs, will slacken a little bit today the foothills. it early on. by sunset snow in the foothills here. i think we could actually get light snow here late tonight and early tomorrow morning. just a dusting for most of us. clear early on, clouds roll in about sunset tonight. temperatures, however, move above freezing today. nice little milestone for us here this week. amelia? as we get off to our drive, starting off with clear conditions, 25, 70, the mousetrap looking good. a light delay piling up southbound on the approach toward i-70.

that is to be expected. out in golden, well -- we'll check our speeds overnight looking good. overnight we had a temporary closure at 128 and 93 but you can now transition between golden and boulder this morning. i-70 looks great near havana, eastbound and westbound speeds right now on the high seed. upper 50ss across-the-board. 225 looking great .10 or 11 minutes average speed between 60 and 70 miles per hour both directions. i mean it is difficult enough that i have a new life with a wheelchair, you know, that i have to learn how to live differently right now. having this happen is pretty devastating. >> reporter: patrick evans is one of 3000 swedish hospital

now for hiv, hepatitis b and c. the hospital believes one of its former employees, a surgical technician put those patients at risk in the past five months. right now it is not clear how the patients were possibly exposed, but we do know the investigation involves a former surgical tech possibly stealing narcotic pain medications. 9news legal expert scott robinson explains what kind of charges can be brought in cases like this. >> diversion of drugs by a medical employee is theft. it can result in charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and could be charged under various federal statutes, including tampering with consumer products. >> we are not naming the surgical tech because he has not been arrested or charged, but there is a criminal investigation that is ongoing. the hospital has no evidence patients were exposed, but they are being cautious. 5:33 right now. a bill that would allow people on their death beds to end

a democratic controlled house panel today. it is believed the bill will have a better chance of advancing there after it was rejected by republicans in the state senate yesterday. last year both parties voted against a similar bill. they argued it could lead to physician assisted suicide in cases where the diagnoses may be wrong. it is something both democrats and republicans in our state agree on. it is too easy for citizens to change the constitution. so now, a group of citizens from both parties are working to change that. the group has filed a series of ballot measures to make it harder to change the constitution by raising the flesh hold from a simple voter majority to 55%. voters would have to approve of the changes. it is a democratic dual tonight. hillary clinton and bernie sanders debate tonight in new hampshire.

country's first primary on tuesday. you can bet both candidates are focused on emerging as the clear front runner. chuck todd and rachael maddow will moderate. it is tonight on msnbc. if you are looking to file your taxes on e-file, you may be out of luck. they are still dealing with computer problems that forced a shutdown of itsen tire e-file system. the irs.gov site this morning is working but other things are not. the irs does not anticipate any big disruptions in the future. you can still file your electronic returns with tax preparers, those companies will hold the returns until the irs system is up and running completely and the irs says

not need to do anything. toyota is getting rid of its s cion brand going forward. vehicles will be rebadged as just toyotas. dealers will continue to no tesla for you. a venture capitalist took the tesla model x and the company to task recently for being here's the twist. he had, at the same time, put that very same vehicle. musk did not appreciate the negative comments about his work, so being the owner of the company, he canceled the order. he tweeted out must be a slow news day if denying service to a super rude customer gets this much attention. it is 5:36 right now. they are names that have

a family escapes injury when their car flipped over and skidded down a busy highway. this happened in england. and the whole thing was caught on a dashboard camera. take a look at this. it is amazing. you can see the car come in, flip over, skids down the highway on its roof, narrowly misses the car where the dash cam in. sparks flying everywhere, the
