right now is in wyoming. blizzard warning until noon, several parts of i-25 and i-80 have been closed north and west of sly an during the course of the night and this morning. winds today again slowing down a little bit in the western suburbs, and slacking off to 25 to 35 miles per hour in the foothills. sunshine for a good bit of the day. let's hit 3:00, clouds thicken and that is an indication we are going to have a little bit of snow overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. more on that in a couple of minutes. amelia has the latest on how things are going on the roads. >> reporter: good morning. i-70 and i 29, a nice easy start across the mousetrap. highway 93 cameras, we have a still shot of the blowing snow that moved across the road at highway 93 and 72. overnight, 93 was shut down. it is back, reopened.

conditions there. 225 in parker, good speeds so far. travel times 9 to 11 minutes. speeds around 60. metrowide in crashes to worry about, but we have one stall in place. eastbound i-70 near peoria. with the light volume, it shouldn't cause you much concern. 6:03 right now. nearly 3000 swedish medical center patients will need to be tested for hiv, hepatitis b and hepatitis c. the testing is part of an investigation into an employee. the colorado public health department spokesperson said it involves a possible diversion of drugs. what is that? 9news legal analyst scott robinson says diversion of drugs by a medical employee is just theft. >> diversion of drugs by a medical employee is theft.

possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and could be charged including tampering with consumer products. >> reporter: right now we don't know exactly how that theft or alleged theft put patients at risk. we are not naming the surgical technician because he has not been arrested or charged yet. investigation. the hospital says they have no evidence patients were exposed but they are being very cautious. right now, every day we get closer to super bowl sunday and more people are showing up in the bay area for it, including broncos and panthers fans alike. 9news reporter cheryl preheim is out there live this morning. so much energy in the city? >> reporter: and more and more every moment cory. as of late last night and starting today, more and more colorado fans are starting to arrive in the bay area.

so it is already starting to gain momentum. it is such a different vibe in san francisco where a lot of the fan activities are. think of it this way, this is like the office at broncos headquarters, you are buttoned up, got to have your game face on and san francisco is like the after work party where you meet up with a bunch of friends and cut loose. san francisco looks gorgeous, especially in these really early morning hours when all the city is lit up. the embarcadero is lit up, the buildings are gorgeous and they have all these great images projected on them. and the super bowl 50 sign. it is neat to see. i'm going to meet up with matt

going to take the city by storm today. >> reporter: a million people are expected to visit the fan experience over the next couple of days. if you ask matt, he has met a few hundred thousand already. lines at all the fun activities, lots of traffic, no parking spots, which is typical for san francisco any day of the year. everyone, though, having a great, great time. you know, all the orange and blue in the city is so much fun for our colorado transplants, who now call california at least their temporary home. we found broncos fans at the state university. >> reporter: there are some things san jose state assistant swim coach would just assume everybody knows. number 7 has inspired her. >> john elway was somebody that was really fun to watch.

chance of advancing in the house today after the republican controlled state senate rejected it yesterday. last year a similar bill was argued against arguing it could lead to physician assisted suicide in cases where a diagnosis could be wrong. bernie sanders has a strong lead over hillary clinton in new hampshire ahead of the primary there. the poll looks at republican support and here's how that breaks down. bernie sanders reading with 58%. clinton saw moderate gains. she now has 36%. donald trump still the front runner new hampshire with 36%. cruz and rubio almost tied for second. rubio 15%, cruz one point behind 14. these numbers from a daily tracking poll to show where each candidate stands with the voters. >> you can't say you are a moderate on one day and be

eventually going to be having hip surgery. the broncos quarterback revealed yesterday he needs a hip replacement. manning says he has battled injuries in his foot, shoulder and ribs all season. he learned about the potential hip problem two years ago but it is not imminent. >> when you have injuries, the doctors sometimes will mention to you, whether you ask them or not, hey you are probably headed for a hip replacement you know at a certain time in your life. i said doc, i didn't ask you if i'm going to have a hip replacement. i didn't need to know that here at age 37 but thanks for sharing. i look forward to that day when i'm 52 and have a hip replacement. super bowl city is ready for the big game sunday. these are aerial videos shot over san francisco last night. how cool is that? i love it. you know who else is ready? the broncos players of course. 9news anchor cheryl preheim is
