today potential jurors will be individually questioned in the trial of dynel lane. investigators say lane lured michelle wilkins to a basement and cut the fetus out of her womb. wilkins was 7 months pregnant. her unborn girl did not survive. lane faces charges of attempted first degree murder, assault, and unlawful termination of a pregnancy. a motions hearing will be held today for a teen accused of plotting an attack at mountain vista high school. sienna johnson is one of the teen suspects in the murder plot. prosecutors charged johnson and 16-year-old brooke higgins as adults in the case. the two girls were taken into custody in december after douglas county investigators uncovered what they said was a plot to attack the school. fresh off their debate in milwaukee last night, hillary clinton and bernie sanders are headed to denver this weekend. both will attend the colorado democratic party annual dinner on saturday night. sanders is also

the colorado convention center. 9news reporter noel brennan is there this morning. noel, the sanders' event is open to the public. it's free and open to the public. doors open here at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. it's first come, first served, but the sanders campaign encourages people to rsvp online. sanders and clinton will be sitting down to dinner with colorado democrats on saturday night but last night they faced off on the debate stage. the two-hour debate was held at the university of wisconsin- milwaukee. it was the first debate since the new hampshire primary. sanders no doubt was hoping to build on the momentum from his win. both candidates tried to appeal to minority voters. we heard about familiar topics wall street, immigration, health care and the size of government. one of the most heated exchanges was when hillary attacked sanders over his criticism of president obama. both clinton and sanders are hoping to drum up support here in colorado. our state's caucuses are less than three weeks away now. their winner on march 1st. so many people are talking about the zika virus...

hendricks talked to athletes about their concerns. "it's definitely something i'm thinking about" tori pena is focused on making it to rio to compete in pole vaulting but says zika is on her mind as she trains "a concern and hopefully we'll be able to take all the right measures so that everything will be okay."
