10:42 pm
that is the goal. is to try to get better. we have a good football team right now. try to hold what we have together with the best we have and try to get better. i think that, you know, we did that last year, gary has been tremendous. you know, big, big reason why we won a championship. the culture and the mind set. you know, it is a lot of work. i was very fortunate to play for a -- you know, raised by a coach's son. knew what it takes to be able to be successful. the amount of time it takes to be successful in this business. i knew i was committing to that time. i knew i wanted to be good at it. >> reporter: 2016, where do you think your priorities are, time to address offense -- >> number one is our free agents that we have.

just -- you know, i think it hits me more and more each day. just sitting here talking to you, something i will cherish. >> reporter: how does it compare to -- this was your baby. you put all the pieces in place, how how do you compare -- all special, this team is here because of the decisions you made. >> well, you know, everybody did their part. as a head coach you have to make decisions and do those things. the great thing about this, it was one of the most amazing team efforts i have been a part of. there is not a player who didn't contribute to us winning. we were not a one, two, three player football team. week. everybody contributed. quarterback situation, you look defensively, in the super bowl, they were out there in the the passer.

10:53 pm
look at anything that could happen, playing, highs, lows, big games, you know, he has done everything. john understands players, he understands how to deal with players. they respect him. he understands coaches. when john watches somebody coach, he knows a good coach. he knows what she looking at. i think he is so seasoned in this business and yet the most competitive guy you will find. >> reporter: congratulations on the super bowl. >> thank you. thank you.
