arguements are scheduled to start today for the woman accused of cutting an unborn baby from another woman's womb. dynel lane has pleaded not guilty. she's accused of cutting the fetus from michelle wilkins womb last march. lane chose not to testify. the defense rested without presenting any evidence or witnesses. killer of a man whose body was car will be arraigned today. 46-year-old shawn geerdes was arrested back in september. he's suspected of killing 44-year-old jason dosa of parker. dosa was shot and his body was found in a burning car down a steep embankment in deer creek canyon. the two were partners in a mairjuana grow

investigators say the shooting was random. there were 3 seperate attacks and the uber driver drove other passengers between the crimes. it happened in kalamazoo, michigan this weekend. six people died... two others were hurt. police say the accused shooter doesn't have a previous criminal record. 9news reporter colleen ferriera is in the information center... colleen -- the suspect is expected to be arraigned on murder charges today. this suspect will most likely face multiple counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder. people in kalamazoo and the surrounding areas are still very confused about what happened saturday evening. the undersheriff says attacks like this... are someone's worst nightmare... when you have somebody just driving around randomly killing people. 8 people were shot at 3 different locations... 6 of them were killed. police say it started a little before 6pm on saturday... when the suspect started shooting outside an apartment complex...one woman was killed there...then they say he moved to a car dealership

a dad and his son shopping for cars. ... and finally he moved to a restaurant parking lot at 12:40am...there - 3 women were killed... and a 14 year old girl was severely injured. police at first had the death toll at 7... because they thought this girl had died...they believed she was dead for more than an hour but then authorites say she squeezed her mother's hand as doctors prepared to harvest her organs. right now...she is in very critical condition, but shes still alive. shortly after the shooting at the restaurant parking lot... the suspect was arrested. police say the threat to the community is over. the people shot and killed were just doing normal weekend activities... and thats what makes this so difficult to understand. friends and family gathered in westminster city park to remember

carson is about 65 percent contained the fire started during a training exercise this weekend. so far it has burned about 12-hundred acres. yesterday two army chinook helicopters spent the day making water drops along the perimeter.. while bulldozers dug fire lines. it took five agencies working together to put it out. firefighters plan to let the fire burn itself out. right now one lane of i-70 in glenwood canyon is open -- one week after a rockslide damaged the interstate. c-dot reopened a lane last night --- and a pilot car will lead drivers through the canyon. the road will close again at nine-this morning so crews can keep making repairs. the pilot car service will restart this afternoon at four. a 106-year-old woman, yes 106 - sparked an impromptu dance party at the white house.
