the next storm, really well organized storm to impact colorado, is just moving into california. they expect a half foot of rain from this system. in the next few hours, we had a cold front come through yesterday that sparked snow in the mountains and then the lower foothills area between 6000-7000 feet, they saw a rain yesterday morning. to drive for that this morning. teens and 20s in the mountains and pretty much everybody with uniform temperatures across the state. fair weather clouds

it doesn't come down the i-25 corridor or out onto the plains. mid to upper 60s in northern colorado and we will pop into the 50s in many foothills locations. the strong wind continues into the afternoon when it will slack off. a few clouds will start to drift into southwest colorado late in the day. we will be in the upper 60s and 60s through the east. close to 70 around walsenburg, pueblo and trinidad. 64, sunshine, wind in the foothills. the gorgeous afternoon to be out and about. calming down and into the 30s tonight. we may see a light shower of rain late in the day. then a few clouds in the morning on saturday and sunday and clearing in the afternoon. we have a nice opportunity for rain on monday. it should not be a big deal for us. sky9 is flying today.

before all of the experiments begin, a moment that is long overdue. scott kelly finally got to see his family early this morning in houston. the spacecraft landed and cause extent on wednesday. he had to take a regular airplane to houston to reunite with loved ones. he got to see his girlfriend, sister-in-law, gabby giffords and his twin brother, mark. they will be investigating what a trip -- what space does to a human body in preparation for a trip to mars. the harken get smaller because it does not have to work as hard in space and neither do other muscles. astronauts do not walk, they float. scott kelly was more than happy to put his body on the line for the sake of science. >> this mission is the latest achievement in the country's space program. it is not the last. there will be more. it's in the dna of our country

that could be a game changer in a lawsuit brought on by forecaster erin andrews. she was secretly taped nude in her motel room . one person apologizing for watching the video in public with friends. neil peskin represents the hotel where andrews was filmed when she got out of the shower. the naked viral video was played on a cell phone and he asked them to stop. a waitress at the restaurant said the peskin was making fun of andrews' body and say that if it was going to cost him millions that he was going to watch it and show everyone as well. it has caused a delay in the trial. a police officer faces a murder charge for the death of a one armed man. officer aaron smith is charged with killing a man outside his home. it was originally said that the man had a stick or cane, but it was a -- it was actually an
