heat and isolated storms, must be summer in colorado, right, kathy? >> i know you enjoy things sulestial, the perseid meteor shower may be effected by the thunderstorms, dark clouds, skies over denver threatening with a bit of rain and lightning around the area. the clouds are expected to move out after about 1:00 in the morning or so. we may catch a glimpse of what could be one of the more impressive meteor showers since probably 2009. double the meteors, double time, and the moon set is 1:02, that is when we expect a burst. there is a lot of moisture coming into the state tonight and cloud cover as well. that will be a factor, at least between now and 1:00 a.m. we will track isolated storms which will move out overnight but things are looking good-- things are looking good as we wake up to clear skies tomorrow and a nice cool friday. tonight, temperatures dropping into the lower 50s around much of the front range and eastern plains. denver about 56. tomorrow, we start off with sunshine, clouds build in the
