worked at north suburban medical center in thornton. she was being treated for severe migraine headaches. moore is in custody, police are asking anyone with information about moore to contact them. the jefferson county sheriff's office is warning about an attempted kidnapping, last night 8:00 deputies were called to a home on west grant avenue in littleton. a 9-year-old girl said she was putting a toy away in her driveway, a man touched her shoulder and said come with me. she ran into her house, told her tan, 6 feet tall with a medium build and tattoos on both arms. one tattoo on the left arm above the elbow is a red skull. he was seen driving a newer bright red 4 -door sedan. if you know anything, call police. democratic vice presidential candidate, tim kaine, was in colorado today. he was laying out hillary clinton's clinton plan for small

wiefshs in washington state-- wildfires in washington state are burning close to homes, the spokane fire uncontained. 2 fires started sunday, 5 structures, including 2 homes have been destroyed, it spread to 3700 acres, the forecast is for cooler temperatures tonight, which could help firefighters get a handle on it. president obama went to louisiana today to see the damage from the flooding.

one of those days where you thought it was going to rain all day long. you kin of did-- kind of did, you had the rain gear, clouds all day long, kind of felt like rain. then you step outside and it is warm, right? >> yeah, almost 90. no rain in the front range, but that will be changing.

70s for a couple days. a look outside right now, noesly cloud a-- mostly cloudy skies, dry for the evening drive. good thing. little rain in the high country, something we can always use this time of year. 85dia, low 90s southeastern colorado. cool on the western slope. cooler air starting to move in. temperatures 70s between n the west-- winds increasing out of the west-southwest. 77 degrees outside the studios. we have had a little bit of rain this month, seems like a whole lot more than what we reported at dia, we are below average for the month. in terms of the year we have a yearly deficit and so certainly any amount of rain coming in with this next weather system would be welcomeed. what we are seeing today are thunderstorms having a hard time coming off the foothills, and pushing over the urban corridor,

rain is in southwestern colorado with the flash flood watch out there. because simply, these stormerize not moving a whole-- storms are not moving a whole lot. lot of rain in a small area short amount of time. southwestern colorado, difficult travel. the western u.s. with relatively quiet weather pattern. the cool front that slid through, well, we have another quick on the heels of this one. what that means for us is an increase in moisture for the next 48 hours. and that translates to the chance of rain along the front temperatures. changing upper 60s to lower 70s wednesday and thursday. as the heat begins to shift off to the east and high pressure breaks down. now tonight we will watch the heaviest thunderstorms kind of rotating counterclockwise around an area of low pressure to the south and west. there is, in pink, rain/snow mix around timber line, 12,000 feet or so, lower elevations, isolated showers tonight but scattered showers are likely tomorrow with a couple embedded thunderstorms and under mostly

cooler than today. 56 tonight in grand junction, close to that in denver, low 60s on the eastern plains. high temperatures tomorrow, mid 80s out west, 60s in the high country. feeling like fall around here with temperatures cooler than average for the next couple of days. 72 in denver, and 78 in pueblo. getting ready for the colorado state fair to kick off here in the next week or so. and if you are traveling to the foothills, look at that, estes park at 61 and 62 in grand lake. tonight, chance for shower, rumbf cloudy, windy, mild. lows mid 50s, cloud cover really doesn't move out and because of that, temperatures will be cooler tomorrow. low 70s with a good chance of rain from storms both wednesday and thursday. about 30% chance of rain. isolated storms friday, warmer, heading into the weekend, wonderful forecast, low to mid 80s for both saturday and sunday. then temperatures will be trending upwards heading into tuesday and wednesday of next week. broncos take the field on saturday, looks like a great
