blitzes, reggie sitting on the bench next to me, and perfecting a fake handoff to edgerrin james. i will miss demarous thomas telling me that he loved me. thanking me for coming to denver after every touchdown i threw to him. miss a play by tom moore that end in a touchdown. afterward, miss recapping the game with my dad. checking to see if the giants won, and calling brady. i miss playing before so many great fans. both at home and on the road. and i will even miss the patriots' fans in foxboro. and they should miss me. because they sure did get a lot of wins off of me. and this is important. football fans everywhere, need to know how much they have meant to me over the years. fans, you were at the core of what makes this game remarkable.

a double shooting leaves one man dead and another hurt. >> he's a long shot, but the green party candidate for president offered big ideas in colorado. what jill stein had to say about how she could affect the election. >> a police officer tries to save a man's life seconds before disaster. >> and the broncos' qb situation gets a little clearer after a lots to discuss when broncos tonight returns next on 9news. denver police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash on the west side, a vehicle hit a pedestrian this evening near alameda and morrison. police say the driver took off. the pedestrian has died. right now alameda and morrison is closed. we do have a crew on the scene working to learn more. we'll bring you updates as soon as we learn them on the networks of 9news.

angeles international airport. the nbc affiliate there in l.a. reports that no shots were fired and that the scene now is all clear. but nbc's lester holt was there and witnessed a chaotic scene at the airport just a short time ago. he tweeted, arrived at l.a.x. off flight when people started pouring out from terminal 4 on to tarmac. security said shots fired, run. he goes on to say he's now in a vehicle in the taxiway. again though the nbc affiliate fired. it's not clear what did happen, but as soon as we learn more about what's happening there in los angeles, we'll bring it to you. back here in west denver, nearly 24 hours after a shooting that left one man dead and another injured, there's still very little information about what happened. we do know someone fired a gun in the 100 block of south knox court just after midnight. that's a few blocks from alameda and federal. neighbors say they've seen an
