but just about 40, 45 minute ago this was such a tense situation with numerous officers with their guns drawn, surrounding this car that you see behind me, that black cross of suv. at this point, we don't know how many people were inside the car. at least one man was in there with his hands in the air and he has been taken in this was a very tense situation with officers yelling for whoever was inside the car to come out. after one man exited the vehicle, we heard police on the mega phone call for another person to come out. again, we are waiting to see how many people were in there. police initially arrived on the scene because a passer-by was asked to call 911 after taking a look at this car. there are questions what about was suspicious about the nature of this call and we are work to get more information but,

storms have been going through the night down to our south and continue to form and reform in central portions of kansas and oklahoma and they're backing into colorado so that is what we're seeing right now. we're going to see some new storms move into baca and bowers county and head west. that's right because corners pulling storms into colorado from the east. for us, we're going to clear from southeast through the north through the day, small chance of storms here or there, very limited north of county line road, south of county line road you have a way better chance for showers today so see how limit we're anticipating the rain to be, a few hundredths of an inch, light sprinkles for most of us, so it shouldn't really affect your afterschool or after work plans

three towns. today marks the 11th anniversary of hurricane katrina's destruction across new orleans. the category 3 storm drenched the gulf coast and overwhelmed the city's levee system and drainage canals, flooding about 80% of new orleans. more than 1800 people were killed and tens of thousands had to be rescued. look at this scene from ohio over the weekend. cell phone video captured a rage river street in st. bernard, ohio. that is incredible video of the water almost up to the windows of some of the cars there. marty is joining us. how is the rain outlook for us today? it look heaviest in southern and central colorado during the day, very limited rain around here, a few high clouds here. we'll get progressively more and more sun as the morning goes on and through the afternoon we go, really, from monument hill south, where the heaviest rain will be.
