was -- lynch, the over and under was he get it is first start after the by, and he'd start week 11. if you put odds on it -- >> i had it much earlier than that. >> that was the over and under i said. now it's some time next year. start of the 2017 season. trevor siemian is the quarterback of this team until it ends. >> i'll up mine. you guys all mocked me because i said throughout the season i'm taking it up another i'm saying never. i'm all on the trevor band wagon. i see eventually they tried the rookie away. >> trade paxton lynch? >> not now! >> okay the way he played today, are you going to bench this guy? he's got to be out played by paxton lynch, and the way he gets better every single game,

happen. >> okay, pump the brakes a little. after four games, they'll have a chance to watch all four of his games, teams will have a chance, and find his weaknesses, so he'll have to deal with teams specifically trying to stop him. >> but they've had film on him, but instead of getting better against him, he's getting better against other teams. >> are you willing to propose a trade to what team for whom? >> >> you had such high hopes, first round picks! [ laughter ] >> one thing the broncos have proven, this is the best team at it, if you're performing on the field, you have to beat that guy out. they don't give anything to anyone. no question about that. >> siemian has definitely deserved it, there's no doubt. he had the accuracy. he was playing better than his stats the first two games. this was a game where he got a lot of people believing.
10:39 pm
of broncoland believes they have a quarterback. >> and it's a fantastic problem for the broncos to have. a fantastic, 7th round pick playing great, and now your first round pick is trade bait which is awesome because he has value as well. >> now he's trying to trade trevor [ laughter ] ! >> phillip rivers said two years, osweiler said three and a half years. at the very least that's the worst case scenario i think right now for paxton lynch. >> just a few weeks ago we had him sitting three and a half minutes, and now it's year. >> yeah, a month ago he was competing with mark sanchez. >> next week cj anderson will see he's not getting enough carries. after demaryius thomas saying
10:40 pm
got a ton. combined 15 catches for 217 yards and three touchdowns. >> show time, show time! we know what we gotta do to tin. >> sanders runs through a tackle and with great effort. >> we game-planned all week on the double move, so in the first 15 plays we had three or four double moves, so we knew we were going to take definitely paid off. >> sanders is there, makes the catch! denver touchdown! >> it was a if you believe move. great call by kubiak and great throw by trevor. just made my job easier. >> pass is caught, sanders, touchdown denver! >> we just know what we're capable of doing on the field. it's one two punch either way. i think we're the best in the
10:41 pm
>> dt is there, make s the catch and walks it into the end zone. >> i caught the ball and they called it a fumble, but i had to keep playing. >> sanders shook him out of his shoes. >> feels good to win. >> both sanders and thomas expressed some aggravation this week with lack of production so far. just a coincidence that suddenly the balls were thrown deep or does nudging the coach help? >> we heard sanders talk about double moves. you have to set up the double move as a regular before the double move can have a chance for success, so offenses are built brick by built. you can't put the double move up in week one. you have to set the defense you have for that, so the complaining by the guys was a little premature on their part
10:42 pm
all the offense and have it going week one or two. it takes time, and now the offense is unfolding. >> for all you youngsters out there [ laughter ] >> i do think there was a concerted effort. look on offense, sanders is making 13.25 million this year. demaryius thomas is making 13 million this year. by far the two highest paid players. i do think gary kubiak wanted to happy. >> i don't think it was just the coach, i think it was the quarterback, all three were asked about it, and trevor you know started looking 88 and 10's way before anyone else just to make sure. >> but of course he wants them to catch the ball. >> yeah. >> but as a young quarterback you can't ask him to go out and throw to guys double timing, that's why he's throwing to nine plus targets, not forcing
10:43 pm
because these safeties weren't the best they had. the broncos did think they could go deem on the bengals. >> demarcus ware is going to the hall of fame on the first ballot, but ray was so good the broncos won't miss ware while he's out? >> ray was good, but there's no way he can bring with demarcus ware brings from a confidence perspective. it's not the same demarcus ware brings. >> they had no sacks in the first half, just like last year. the offense commits a turn over. the bengals really only have five yards to go before they're in field goal range, and they go backwards, just like last year. it's unbelievable how many time it is defense makes a stand after the offense commits a turnover. >> shane impressed the

>> siemian slides to the left. >> ball from sanders, sanders is there, make it is catch! denver touchdown! >> reporter: have you ever had more fun playing football? i guess it's an obvious heck no. >> yeah, it was a great team win. really cool to be a part of. >> reporter: and this place on the road presented problems for the broncos before. >> yeah, we knew the noise was going to be a factor, but there's not a lot of things better than winnon >> reporter: tell me about the first touchdown when you hit sanders. >> yeah, he ran a great route, and those guys did great. >> reporter: they had a lot of chances. they can't say throw me the darn ball. >> oh, yeah, those guys are good, good lead weres for us -- leaders for us the whole way through. i'm leaning on them and their leadership, and they've been great. the offense goes through those

>> reporter: they have great hands and the bengals don't because there was a couple of picks. but they had a couple of key drops. >> yeah, sure, there's always stuff to clean up, but again just a good team win. the resiliency we showed. >> reporter: and they put more pressure on you, but you came through. >> yeah, you have to be able to do both, have balance and be able to run it and throw it, >> reporter: trevor final thing, just the last couple of minutes i saw you congratulating the offensive linemen, smart move by the way, what was it look for you? >> yeah, this is a fun win, it's a really tough place to play, so to sneak a win here it's really cool to be a part of it. >> reporter: congratulations trevor.
10:51 pm
>> 300 yards, 4 touchdowns! [ laughter ] >> siemian's getting a lot of credit right now for being so cool under pressure, but don't you think the first time the broncos lose a game he'll get hammered for being emotionless. >> i thought that was going to be the case if he lost the first or second game, but now with three in the bank. >> and a reputation now? >> yeah, a little bit. joe montana wasn't mr. personality, and he was pretty good. i'm e looking for john candy somewhere in the stands or the equivalent. >> each week, you know, i call a college football game, and each weekend i see one team get way too high or low and allow the emotion of the game to overcome them, so i think trevor siemian is doing it exactly right. being calm and mellow is how to keep the team moving forward.
10:52 pm
trevor siemian dives for the ball, dives for the 1st down. he may be mellow and not give a great sound bite, but he plays hard. >> so the buccaneers are next, then the falcons, chargers and texans. how many in a row to start the season? >> ready? >> you're going to say all of them. >> 13-0. they're going undefeated until the new england game. >> it might be three. last year they won the super bowl and last to a bad raider team at home. i think next week is going to be tough, back on the road to tampa bay. winston is playing a lot better. i wouldn't be surprised if next week is a track game. >> how about the thursday night game against the chargers? tough team, short week. >> all right, thanks for staying up late and watching
