road panels. they were unveiled take a look at what could be the road of the future. adele is watching very carefully. these are solar road panels.
10:32 pm
the road has heating elements built in. the panel should collect enough sunlight to power all the bells and whistles and safety features. and if they don't, well, that's why they're going to test them first on walkways and sidewalks before adele gets out there and goes real fast. >> no, that's for people who like to stay between the lines. >> if there are no lines -- >> then it doesn't count. >> do what you need to do. >> exactly. to get from point a to point b. >> you do it with style. >> and with snow tires maybe later on. >> it is something to think about. >> eventually. >> people have been asking about blowing out sprinklers. winter rising your lawn and yard and car and house. it is going to be sunny windy and warm. showers wednesday night. enough cold air that possibly will see a rain/snow mix briefly. that will be interesting to wake up to. the really cold air stays just

that's going to be intercepted. thomas to the goal line, touchdown denver! intercepted. talib has it again, walking into the end zone. >> throw, wide open, touchdown denver. >> it is going to be dirty. we like dirty games, too. >> hi everybody and welcome to broncos tonight. drew soicher and chad brown here in denver. rod mackey and mike klis in the
10:37 pm
the buccaneers. so i ask you, 20 years from now will this game be remembered for paxton lynch's nfl debut or because of the hour 1/2 weather delay? >> well, drew, we really are still at the stadium for the first time it's official true. these delays are becoming sort of the norm around here. they actually had one last week. but when your number one makes his nuer that's something that's memorable. senate's definitely not the weather, because the game didn't change. had the game flipped on a dime with the weather change, i think everyone years from now would remember how the rain completely changed the game. so that will go away. paxton lynch, it wasn't all that memorable. he did a nice job. he managed the game like bart star. but coming off the bench, still it wasn't one of those things where he really lit it up,
10:38 pm
with the broncos already ahead 14-7. so i think it is just one of those things, it's nice to get it out of the way. now we'll see what paxton lynch does next week. >> i think it's significant, not because of the weather, because paxton lynch made his debut and john elway can recognize he's got two quarterbacks. that's a luxury a lot a lot of teams just have one. the broncos have two. >> i've suffered a sprained acl joint. you can play with that. i believe trevor siemian has done enough to be the start where's healthy. but again it's very comforting to gary kubiak, john elway, we've got a guy that can come in and play and win a game. >> it's not like he was struggling. >> i think that paxton lynch is probably going to start next week.
10:39 pm
one week. it's. with peyton manning went down last year they got a chance to look at brock osweiler. now they get a chance to -- with siemian, no sense rushing him back. in another week, maybe siemian comes back. >> i would be surprised if paxton wasn't i would think that number 12 will be number one next week. after that i still think this is siemian's season. next year the competition will be fears. you've got to give the kid credit when you think about. he became the first denver draft pick quarterback to ever win his first fourgaas a bronco. it's never happened before. but make no mistake, siemian is
10:40 pm
it's not the quarterback who started this game but the quarterback who finished it. >> he is going to be sacked and slammed to the turf. >> when trevor came out with the injury, i was prepared to go in. obviously i was a little nervous, but i was prepared to play. things were moving fast. i could have probably done better getting in and out of the huddle a well. >> first career nfl touchdown. >> that was very exciting, especially for it to be a guy like -- >> demaryius hurt him. >> i felt good. obvious well the ball, what are
10:41 pm
remember him coming in and telling me, look, i'm going to throw a touchdown pass, and we were able to connect. that's the first of many. and paxton lynch in his debut as an nfl you know. >> there were some things i obviously could have done agent better but that's would. >> lynch is the broncos' fourth quarterback during this nine- game winning streak. who do peculiar accomplishment? >> well, every time bill bell check does this in new england with a new quarterback, they give him all the credit. >> that's true. >> i do think it's time that gary kubiak gets some credit as one of the best coaches in the nfl. this is four quarterbacks since last year that have helped win a game during this six-game
10:42 pm
it's quite the accomplishment. manning, osweiler, siemian, and lynch. >> i think you have to give some credit to the people they throw to. that would be. big roles for all four of those quarterbacks. >> i didn't even think of the receivers. i was thinkingth the four quarterbacks, maybe the quarterback coach. >> i'm going defense on this one. the touchdowns on the last two seasons, the number of timely plays, number of timely whether it's a von miller sacks, big hit by t.j. ward. they've got guys that make plays despite who is playing quarterback. >> it's clear, a lot of

for this. aqib talib is angry with himself tonight. and he will tell us why next. >> you know what time it is! let's go! one, two, three! >> two interceptions and still embarrassed. talib explains how that could be possible when broncos

10:47 pm
>> yes, paxton lynch did exactly what denver needed him to do. let's move from offense to defense, talk about the player who got the game ball. aqib talib was born in cleveland, grew up in texas, played college football in kansas, now calls colorado home. a lot of connections to a lot be special. after all this is the place where he made his nfl debut. >> i thought you were going to take one of those to the house. you've been promising another pick six. >> i'm mad. i really had the opportunity to score on i think the first one. >> that's going to be intercepted, aqib talib at the 30, inside the 20.
10:48 pm
interceptions in a game and say ear still mad? >> yeah, i had to score. if you see the guy who tackled me, that's why i'm so mad. it's all good. i had a great home coming. the fans welcomed me great. i'm happy. >> aqib talib with his 32nd career interception. >> i'm guessing you were thinking about this last night. what is it going to be like coming back to the team that drafted you. i'm also guessing it went better than you would. >> i heard a bunch of "talib, we love you." the red jerseys, i got a bunch of love around the city and the hotel. so man, it feels good to be loved in tampa still. >> welcome home aqib talib. the bucs drafted him in the first round back in 2008. >> and most importantly you guys get a win, a dominant win.
10:49 pm
win, a dominant performance on defense. man, it don't get no better. >> when you saw trevor go down, did you think, we have to extent up? >> we know we got coach kubiak. he gets our quarterbacks right. we got confidence. who is under center, we got confidence. >> more wins than any team in the nfl. >> we'll take it. >> very good, aqib, appreciate it. >> appreciate it. >> talib now interceptions, the most of any cornerback over the past eight season, and the last three have come since he got shot in the leg. chad, how does he do it? >> i was going to say he dodged a bullet with the nfl not giving him a suspension. >> yeah. >> four more than the next closest cornerback as far as interceptions. a great set of hands. you have to catch all those first. great instincts. a really good understanding of
10:50 pm
he is a threat to take it to the house every time. he is a special, special player. that is what makes it so frustrating when he does the silly stuff off the field, the dumb stuff on the field, because he's such a great player. there's no need for any of that. >> the chances atlanta's matt ryan will be able to throw for 500 yards and julio jones will be able to catch 300. >> no way, wade phillips describes the sound philosophy. believe me, they will be prepared for what julio and matt ryan brings on sunday. >> mike? maybe not. >> ask me another question. >> and this tampa bay team is not a very good -- they're not a very good football team. one thing i will say, though, the broncos defense is all
10:51 pm
on their offense, julio jones being the big one. freeman, their running back, they're a turf team. that's one team that might be able to move the ball a little bit on this defense that is about speed. >> the thing is, nobody does anything against this defense. we've seen it week in, week out. we keep going against great quarterbacks. look at this tampa team. they were averaging 23 points per game. they lit up a couple teams. against these guys they score one the broncos defense able to bring out the worst in the other teams. >> real quick, it's nearly 1:00 in the morning in tampa. chances you guys will get any sleep before your 6:00 a.m. flight back home? >> zero. >> about as much chance as those guys scoring 500 and 300 yards. >> enjoy your all-nighter, guys. thanks for staying up late.

teenager. peyton linafelter - it is bad news for anyone, let alone a teenager. >> peyton was diagnosed with cancer on her 16th birthday. it was ovarian cancer, one of the most lethal in women. peyton became one of the youngest patient in the u.s. to be diagnosed according to her doctor. in the six months since then

gotten encouragement from her name sake. peyton manning called her. >> he was just saying that his entire family is praying for me and he's praying for me, and he thought it was really cool that i was named after him. >> she also got a signed jersey and helmet. better yet, peyton's latest scans look good. about 25,000 women are diagnosed each year. symptoms include abdominal pain, gnaw sharks and bloated. >> diagnosed at 16. >> yeah. you really don't think that a young girl like that would ever have to face something like that. >> we wish her all the best. peyton manning doing another good deed for someone. you know how many of those go under the radar, too. >> that's right. we're going to appreciate some moisture, maybe a rain/snow mix wednesday, but not tomorrow.

degrees, 82 in the afternoon. that's 10 degrees warmer than what we typically see temperatures at this time of year. moving through the extended period, cooler tuesday and wednesday, chances for showers wednesday night. the rain may mix brief well snow thursday morning. the coldest air will stay just north of us. lows in the mid-30s overnight so this is a gentle reminder, time to winterize your house and your car and your yard and time to start thinking about blowing out your sprinkler. your neighbors pr have, and there's probably already a waiting list. >> winterize yourknee. do we have to? >> nothing worse than watching somebody would hasn't taken the steps to winterize themselves. that looks cold. so our plan is to go home and sleep and then meet back here tomorrow. you're already home. so all you need to do is sleep and then meet us here tomorrow. there you go.
