three rallies, two campaigns, in one day. donald trump and gary johnson in colorado today. trump is congresswomanning off a fresh controversy about his taxes, and johnson is trying to gain ground in battleground state. a deadly superstorm with winds topping 160 miles an hour has already punished columbia, venezuela, and jamaica. we look at where matthew is headed next. no trevor? no problem. the player of the week is hurt, but the rookie quarterback steps in and leads denver on to victory.

but first we will go to tahronda. >> reporter: he will be in pueblo and then make his way to the budweiser event center in loveland. doors open at 3:00 for anyone who wants to come out. donald trump coming off a busy weekend, starting with a report from the new york post about his taxes. that report from the new york times rather saying that donald trump has maybe not paid taxes in 18 years because he rotted net losses of $900 trump's people said it would be toe rally legal and smart if he did something like that, but let's talk about the apprentice. it aired on nbc for many, many years. many people thought it did well, but former workers and contestants said donald trump was inappropriate when it came to commenting with women and dealing with women, whether that be in treating them in a sexual nature or making comments of that nature.

allegations he said and did inappropriate things. donald trump's campaign released a statement in nbc knews saying the unlandish and totally false campaigns from disgruntle former employees have no merit whatsoever. strong language from the trump campaign responding to the latest allegations in regards to the apprentice. so many people wanting to see what donald trump say and do when he comes to colorado. it's a battleground state. we saw a couple of weeks ago his son and daughter in colorado on the same day, but today he will be covering two opposite ends of colorado, the south side and up here north in loveland. his campaign has a lot of work to do today, and they are hoping to have thousands of supporters to cheer them on. cheryl? >> it will be interesting to see what, if any, issues he addresses in colorado.

wave of recent gun violence in america shows the need to better protect our children. clinton spoke to the congregation at a church on sunday, less than 2 weeks after the fatal police shooting of keith scott, and it sparked violent protests, and the presidential nominee sautees many african american -- nominee says too many african american families have had to deal with the same tragedy as the scott family. third party candidates some shuffle of the presidential elections, especially this year when the major party candidates are getting so much attention, but gary johnson wants people to know there's an alternative. he will be in colorado trying to spread the message. jessica oh is live from parker with more. jessica, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, gary, and yeah, that is his strategy right now, letting the country know f you're unhappy with the two candidates, which many people have been, there's

the libertarian candidate will host his first rally in colorado this evening, and his visit could prove crical, again, considering that in colorado, trump and clinton are at a virtual tie right now. any shift in the polls could make a difference. gary johnson is going well in colorado compared to the other battleground states, polling at 13% here, and he's polling well be with over groups as well. 35percent of young voters and he has 30% of the vote of the military. experts say the pump in numbers is likely because of people are disenfranchised with hillary clinton and donald trump, and gary johnson is trying to capitalize on that. in colorado, something else that could be helpg him, he's promarijuana, and also because this is where the libertarian party started in the '70s, and just a little more about this

urging people to heed the evacuation warnings, and this is video of the storm that hit jamaica on sunday. matthew is currently a dangerous category 4 storm, bringing heavy rain and strong winds that could trigger flooding in parts of haiti. belen is joining us now. when do you think this may hit? >> the center of the storm is expected to approach jamaica and southwest haiti tonight, and over the weekend, it was a category 5 hurricane, and the last time we had a cat atlantic basin was in 2007, and that was hurricane felix. although it has lost a bit of its punch this is a major hurricane, and us taped winds -- and sustained winds at 130 miles an hour it will be a major hurricane at least through tuesday. back in colorado, the forecast is going to be windy, but not 130 miles an hour, up to 35-

we are tracking another storm but that will not arrive until wednesday and thursday. interesting week, folks. starting with strong winds today, and it could cause problems for drivers on i-70 and the mountains where a wind advisory will be in effect. high wind watch for southern wyoming, and red flag warning for eastern colorado that will increase the fire danger, and gusts could get up to 40 miles an hour. the mountains, 40s and 50s, and we are light rain in the front range. i don't think that will be a problem if you're hilting the roads. the scattered showers and thunderstorms mixed in with the snow over timberline will continue to develop and move to the east in the afternoon. light rain is possible along i- 76, and tonight, temperatures drop, and the winds will decrees, and tomorrow morning

sunshine, and tonight, 41 will be the overnight low, and in the high country, temperatures dropping into the 20s and 30s, and that's where the breeze watch will go in effect tonight through tomorrow morning, and here on the front range, not that cold, but still, dropping down from where we were this morning, and the next several days it will continue to show the drop in temperatures, and 60s for tuesday, wednesday, and thursday, a chance of showers, and snow in the mountains. 55 is the low on thursday, and friday and saturday, the tempur right back up. tracy? >> this morning an accident on i-76 westbound causing issues, and the left lane is blocked, and traffic is really starting to back up. we have a look at that from the sky9 camera. this morning, you can see one lane of traffic, and the speeds are slowing down into the single digits. until that accident gets cleaned up, expect delays on i- 76 westbound around 225.

joining us with more. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, corey. it's a smart strategy on his part because so many people are disenfranchised with the candidates right now. gary johnson will be here at 7:00 for a rally at the great hall, his first rally in colorado for the election season. nationally, gary johnson is polling in the single digits, not doing too well, but in colorado he has more strength, an majority of other battle ground states in iowa he has 9% right now, and in colorado, he has 13%. johnson has been very popular amongst millennials. the former governor of new mexico's pro marijuana stance has been popular with voters here, and colorado is where the libertarian party was first downed in the 70s. that is going to tribute to

i appreciate your pictures. this is another beautiful shot from wilddove of the fall colors in the high country, and with the beautiful leaves on the aspens, some of them could be knocked down because of the week of weather we have ahead of us. currently a front is moving into colorado, causing showers and thunderstorms in the mountains, and it's going to increase the winds, and we are tracking another storm that arrives wednesday and thursday, and now today, all about the winds, causing drivers along i-70 and also in southern wyoming. for us, the high winds will increase fire danger, and the red flag warning in effect at noon. the temperatures this afternoon, they are still nice. upper 70s and low 80s. not a high country generally 50s and 60s. the storms mainly in the high country. through 10:30, more blue in the sky with the scatter the showers developing through the mountains. a chance for light snow in
