dozen people. christine joins us with more. her husband shares autopsy report with us. >> reporter: we have learned the bus accident at d.i.a. was just an accident, according to an autopsy report released yesterday on the driver, 43- year-old carrie chopper. the report shows no trace of drugs or alcohol in her system before the crash happened. chopper was transporting members of legacy high school football team on september 11 s and crashed into a pillar on the east side of the airport. three legacy football coaches and 15 players were injured in that wreck. chopper was the only person killed. the report did not rule out she may have had a heart issue but there is no proof this was anything but an accident. for him, this report officer some much-needed answers. >> to be able to have physical proof in my hands and to be able to show the world that my

to do us harm was pretty messed up. the fbi is looking for a person who placed an ied outside the nederland business office. he saw the robot that the boulder county bomb squad used to safely detonate the device yesterday. the fbi says it was definitely a bomb and failed to go off. the u.s. attorney's office in colorado has decided not to charge an epa massive gold king mine spill. investigatorses found the employee may have violated the clean water act and given false statement, but a spokesperson said instead of prosecuting the unnamed employee, they're sending the case to senior epa management to review. it happened in august 2015 when an epa cleanup team was doing work at the mine, 3 million- gallon of wastewater polluted

conditions in the 70s, dry here. i have been tracking light showers from las animas to baca county, some lightning in these skies. they're really fast-moving, should be wrapping up in southeast colorado before 10:00 this morning. we'll move those skies over into kansas and leave most of the state with dry conditions. during the day today, into the 70s, a mild night coming up and with more west and southwest winds, over most of east colorado. fire danger will be a concern. we're going up with sky 9 over 25 and thornton parkway but another crash in very close proximity, 84th and huron is the location where this major crash took place, blocking the intersection. traffic is getting through in all four drecks but wouldn't be surprised if they block it off. if that's the case, so 4th is an option on the opposing side of 25. you have washington as an

alternate so i-25 has been tough in the same part of town as well and here's why. our southbound stretch towards thornton parkway dealing with this crash at thornton. the tow truck arrived to get the vehicle involved up and out of there, left lanes blocked, express lanes and two left lanes getting by but these drive times are stack up very quickly. we have a southbound trek, 24 minutes from e-470 to thornton so pretty tough. the other problem intersection south and east, hampton and buckley tied up with a two-car crash. >> we'll watch for that. thank you, amelia. 6:32 now. with just under four weeks before the election, the race is tightening. donald trump is closing the gap with clinton, just nine points under, but new allegations are causing a stir. christine is following the fallout. there are now some sexual assault allegations against donald trump. >> reporter: a florida woman

hillary clinton's aides. it shows conversations that trump said was anti-catholic and clinton's campaign said it's release by russians to influence the vote. on the ballot is 71 to make it tougher to change colorado's constitution. you have probably seen commercials about it. people against that measure are going to rally outside the state capitol today scarring if the amendment is passed, only the rich d propose initiative in the future. if passed, any petition for a constitutional amendment would have to be signed by at least 2% of registered voters and would require a 55% approval for a constitutional amendment. that's just one issue debated next tuesday. 9news will air a debate on the ballot question and on october 20 will host a debate with candidates for the sixth congressional seat -- mike

boulevard where redevelopment projects start today and they're adding a number of improvements to brighton. >> reporter: so many. if you have been to this area -- i know i have -- there are so many new things and new breweries and restaurants and i know there's plenty of new development for apartment and condos so these will go hand-in- hand with everything else going on right now. the redevelopment project will take play on brighton boulevard and many project will come with it. we'll see new, continuous sidewalk, raised and protected pike lanes for you cyclists. there will be upgraded intersections and the one that have been out here have been out here for a while so they could use an up grade and will be bike detection added to three intersections.

we've had fog up to the north. highway 85, actually seeing conditions improve up there so that's great. in the weather center this morning, what we're tracking are some light showers in southeastern colorado. they don't have a lot of life left in them. they will move into kansas and the clouds and drizzle and fog we have over us now moving out by mid-morning, a sunny -- i mean, sunny afternoon for you. 70s for our daytime highs, into the 60s and 70s in the mountain gusts over 30 miles per hour right up over the top of berthoud pass towards loveland pass and will get windy as you get up high. showers in southeastern colorado out and away during the morning. that reveals clear conditions late in the afternoon with 60s to near 70 along the kansas border, getting privately milder towards i-25 and in the western valleys with 50s and 60s in mountain areas. wind will be a bit of an issue for us.
