two people are in the hospital after they were shot. denver police tell us the double shooting happened on north eudora street... near 30th avenue and "m-l-k". officers say the victims' injuries are non-life threatening. they don't have any suspect information at this time. the motive in a deadly motel shooting over the weekend is still unclear -- but now we know who officers believe fired the gun. denver police have issued a warrant for this man -- brent kelley. wanted for first degree murder after they say he killed a woman at the airway motel on east colfax early saturday. officers haven't said who the woman was . anyone with information though can call crimestoppers at 720-913-stop. tipsters are eligible for a two-

popular bar in downtown denver -- and now the bar is fighting to re- open. today, cold crush will be putting together a public rally and is asking supporters to come join their cause. police closed the bar on 27th and larimer last week -- days after a man died in outside the club. officers say they've been called to that bar-- too many times. both democrat hillary clinton and republican donald trump are campaigning amid more controveries or still dealing with sexual misconduct allegations -- and clinton facing criticism from some after more emails were leaked. 9news reporter jessica oh is following the campaign for us this morning. a lot of this week will be focused on those issues just before their third debate -- but today there are some big names campaigning here in colorado. both campaigns are rallying hard for votes here - as ballots get mailed out today.

elizabeth warren campaigned for clinton at d-u's auraria campus yesterday. sanders made it a point to say and he and clinton are on the same page - in terms of the party's platform. many of his supporters have been reluctant to support clinton. today - sanders' focus will shift to rallying votes - specifically - for amendment 69 at c-u boulder. about 45 minutes away - donald trump junior is campaigning for his father at centennial gun club. trump has shown unwavering support for the second amendment. tomorrow - donald trump himself - will be in co springs in the morning - before heading to grand junction. in the third and final debate - you can bet the growing number of sexual assault allegations against trump will come up - as well as - his recent accusation that the election is rigged. for clinton, it'll be the release of even more emails by wikileaks. sparking concerns surrounding the black and l-g-b-t commuities. well talk more about the controversies facing both candidates - coming up at 5:30. clinton and trump's

says he's feeling about the international community's response to hurricane matthew-- in haiti. ban ki-moon is in haiti this week to get a first-hand look at the destruction after the storm tore through the island. the hurricane killed more than 500 people there. he wants the international community to do more to help the poor island. he thinks more aid efforts should be focused on the potential cholera outbreak. the storm also left a lot of damage throughout the southeast u-s. but now people aren't the only ones suffering. they've have lost their homes and owners. overcrowded animal shelters are now sending dogs to shelters with more room in states across the country. all were transferred to make room for local animals -- who need temporary housing until they're reunited with their owners. if you thought rocky mountain national park had a lot of visitors -- check out zion

magazine wrote -- and then eventually pulled -- about a gang rape at the university of virginia. a u-v-a administrator is suing over her portrayal in the article. the article was later debunked. that hobooken terminal that became the scene of a deadly train crash will be at full service this morning -- the first time since the crash. the train came crashing into the terminal back on september 29th -- killing one woman and injuring more than 100 others. there are still the crash is still under investigation. officials have said the train was speeding right before the wreck a republican party office in north carolina is severely damaged this morning -- after it was firebombed overnight. authorities say someone threw a bottle with flammable liquid through the window of the hillsborough republican headquarters -- burning the place to ash. authorities say that wasn't all though -- another building nearby was spray-painted with the words quote

no one was hurt -- but a security alert is now being sent to party offices around the state. u-s officials say for the third time -- at least one missile was fired at the navy destoyer u-s-s mason in the red sea. they say it happened early sunday -- with the missile coming from yemen land controlled by militants. the ship wasn't hit -- and they say they deployed countermeasures. no word on what those as after the first two attacks -- the u-s military launched missiles back -- that hit and destroyed three radar sites along yemen's coast. 21 of the school girls kidnapped by boko haram miilitants more than two years ago have reunited with their families. the girls were freed thursday -- but just arrived to their homes in nigeria sunday. it's the first negotiated release between the nigerian government and the islamic
