continuing to burn right now near westcliff . as of this morning-- the 16 thousand acre wildfire is zero percent contained and crews say it's claimed 5 homes and 15 other structures. we're told a type one federal firefighting ground crew will take over at 6 this morning. at least 11 aircraft will also be used today. investigators have figured out what started the blaze-- they say high winds blew a metal outbuilding into power lines early monday morning. while all that's happening in southern colorado-- you'll notice a little rain here as you wake up in the metro. here's a live look out at coors field this morning.

state is ready we're taking a live look at the university of nevada in las vegas. hillary clinton and donald trump will square off in just over 12 hours. this as the latest nevada polls show clinton has actually pulled ahead there. trump continues to blame the media - and he claims that the elecetion is ri he claims the media focuses more on sexual assault allegations against him-- ...than hillary clinton's emails. --specifically, the latest ones suggesting the state department tried to declassify a top-secret email after clinton sent it. clinton has already arrived in las vegas. experts say-- her focus will be to stay-on topic and look presidential.

his feelings on his party's nominee-- donald trump-- before tomorrow's debate. he told 9news he will not be voting for trump or clinton in this year's election. morgan carroll's campaign says coffman's indecision is an insult to all americans participating in the election process. trump's running mate-- mike pence-- will be in colorado today. he arrives-- one day after donald trump, himself, made a stop in our state. pence will rally supporters at the la plata county doors will open there at "ten." pence will then make his way to nevada and new mexico for rallies in those states tomorrow. during his visit to colorado springs tuesday-- donald trump called for term limits for members of congress. he suggests 12 years for senators... and 6 years for house members. trump says the limits should be part of a bigger plan to-- in his words-- "drain the swamp" of washington corruption. on the other side-- hillary clinton's campaign will be in

...then he'll head to springfield and asheville for early voting rallies. he'll also stop in north carolina. kaine was in detroit yesterday. his speech focused on poverty, racism, and ways to combat those issues in america's cities and rural communities. the county clerk in pueblo is looking into why one woman may have gotten two ballots in the mail. we hear about this every year and we expect to hear more. if you get two ballots in the mail-- yon clerk says if a voter attempts to submit two identical ballots - one would be counted - and the district attorney would be notified of the second. a denver based company is expected to break ground on a 40 million workforce housing community today del corazon-- a 197 unit complex

it is the westwood neighborhood. the project-- will replace two old mobile home parks that were on the verge of being condemned. the city says the new complex will provide workforce housing-- to help revitilize the area. the area will also be getting a high- intensity activated cross walk signal to help people cross morrison road safely. the project is expected to wrap up in early 20-18. deadline is looming for r-t-d. they have "until then"-- to fix problems with the a-line commuter rail. r-t-d has to come up with a "fix" for the problematic "crossing gates".... and the trains' "speed control" system. those issues have caused the "train to the plane"-- to shut down several times since april. r-t-d wants to fix the problems with the a-line... before it can open the new g-line. ... temporarily stop the train or uses buses to meet government safety standards. now an update on some other wildfires that have been burning this week. fire crews say they're working to get the freeman fire in eagle county under control-- and they are trying to figure out what started it. right now -- the fire is 336 acres with 40-percent containment. crews do have helicopters helping them fight the fire. happening today-- the boulder fire- rescue will host a wildfire preparedness workshop. homewoners will learn -- how to sign up for emergency notification-- about evacation and disaster planning for their families. homeowner will also learn about how to reduce the risk of losing their home in a wildfire. the workshop gets underway at 7

underway this morning after thousands of gallons of toxic water were dumped into the sewer system in colorado springs. authorities say the toxic water came from peterson air force base. the 150 thousand gallons of water contained cancer causing p-f-cs. those same types of chemicals are the center of an investigation and massive cleanup going on in several towns south of colorado springs near the base. utilities workers were told about the release within 24 hours after it happened. however it took

afternoon. the contaminated water went through a filtration system however those filters do not stop p-f-cs and so the water ended up in fountain creek. 9 children in colorado and wyoming are off the streets after a crack down on child prostitution. on tuesday-- the f-b-i said it arrested 11 traffickers during the 3 day stings in the two states. 32 customers and 47 adult prostitutes were also arrested. the oper these two states - ranks second nationally for the number of children rescued, again 9 kids were saved. the youngest child rescued was 14 years old. in an fbi video-- a former victim explained why traffickers often pick younger kids. the task force targeted hotels, truck stops, street

parents in littleton will soon start getting more information on a program that could help their middle schoolers to get a "high school experience." it's called-- "early high school." the eighth graders would have a closed campus.... but would mingle with older students. educators see it as an opportunity to get started on planning for kids' futures. the program is open to all students-- regardless of their grades. program organizers say-- it can also be useful for students planning to attend college- and those planning to go into a vocation. littleton has already sent letters to current seventh graders and their parents

they do say some of them appear to be man made items. tha'ts why they feel like it is important to be able to see exactly what they are. in manila this morning--- several protestors are recovering after demonstrations against american troops in the philippens turned violent. protesters were in front of the american embassy to speak out against a military pact signed two years ago. that pact allowed more american troops and storage of equipment inside il a spokesperson with the activist group says three demonstrators were injured when a police van rammed them. police also used water cannons and reportedly tear gas to disperse about one- thousand anti- u-s protesters. 21 people were arrested according to activists. police said the group did not have a permit to protest and got violent first-- which prompted retaliation.

take a closer look-- the recall involves these "3 squares"- branded rice and slow cookers with fixed power cords. the company says its gotten three incident reports-- ...including one where a cooker started sparking when turned it was turned on. there's also been a report of a cooker turning itself on. one person was hurt. the cookers were sold in stores nationwide and online from december 20-15... through last july. the company says it'll replace all the cookers. wells fargo executives say the company is going into overdrive today to win back customer trust after their fake account scandal. the latest set back for the bank was losing accrediation with the better business bureau. the bbb made the announcement late tuesday. earlier this month-- employees were found to be opening millions of fake accounts without customers knowing what was going on. it was all in an effort to meet product sales goals. in a statement tuesday-- the company says it
