earlier in the morning. right now things are beginning to clear out over the area. we have a few fair weather clouds moving off to the east this morning. it was raining a couple of hours ago. that's shifted to the north and east and it is still snowing in some of our mountain areas especially over loveland but that is slowing down as well. the showers have shifted from port morgan, out along the i-76. light rain over the area. visibility is great around around the steamboat springs area this morning. as far as your morning commute goes, don't worry about anything as far as most of the areas, most have dried out. holding in the 40s through 9:00 this morning and only moving in to the mid-50s this afternoon. i think we could see a few showers in the area just to the east this afternoon. ail track those for you here in -- i'll track those for you in a couple

the remains found at al-dora is 83-year-old irwin metler. the denver man had been camping near the mountain resort. they have not yet figured out how he died. a three-day f.b.i. sting in colorado and wyoming has ended with 43 people facing charges and nine kids rescued. the f.b.i. says the sting, the prostitution sting, centered on hotels, truck stops, street corners and social media apps. the years old. prosecutors estimate as many as 2,000 children in colorado and wyoming are sexually exploited each year. even with these arrests, agents say that investigation is not close to being over. >> i think if we spent a month doing this, the numbers would be staggering and yet we still would not eliminated it from our streets and our communities. to rescue these children is the best investment of our criminal justice

says its international operation has recovered 82 victims all over the world. the man who opened fire at planned parenthood in colorado springs was back in court yesterday and he wasn't quiet. he had several outbursts in the courtroom. now, the shooter who has confessed has been staying in a facility in may when he was found mentally to stand trial. the judge will decide which documents to release. there is a civil case in denver, victims of the shooting are suing planned parenthood. tracking some of the showers later this afternoon, it does look like we'll see a few redevelop after about 2, 3:00, just to the north and east of the metro area up through weld county and out toward fort morgan and brush. but the rain is going to be minimal.

we might get a sprinkling this afternoon but i think most of us are dry. windy down south, cold air come through overnight, for the junkins fire area we're expecting the wind to die down dramatically after 1:00 this afternoon. unfortunately, right around noon to three, we will have low humidity and wind gusts up to 20 miles an hour. the up side is temperatures will hold in the 50s which are conditions at all for firefighting. hopefully we can make progress. >> any help they can get would be so much use. that wildfire burning in custer county is still not contained this morning by any stretch. crews are bringing in about 11 aircraft today to fight the junkins fire. it has spread over 16,000 acres. it's about 25 square miles, so it would take you an hour and a half to drive around it.

mosquitos from miami beach that have tested positive for zika. that is in the already designated zika transmission zone which is a large area that remains active as of tuesday. over 1,000 people in florida have been infected with the virus. 163 of them are not travel related. in a county just north of miami, there's a new machine helping in the fight against the zika virus. it's a it disperses vek tral vak wg in the air. researchers say that chemical is naturally occurring so it's not dangerous to put out there. they're taking advantage of it, mixing it with water, trying to stop the mosquitos. >> a naturally occurring biodegradeable materials that has been used in the keys over environmental sensitive land. >> so they told people living there there's no need to be concerned
