last night's game against the houston texans... it was - of course - a return to denver for former broncos quarterback brock osweiler.. his welcome back to mile high...wasn't exactly warm. and his peformance -- not even luke- warm.. osweiler threw 41 times...for only 131 yards...and no touchdowns.

another colorado visit. he was in durango just last wednesday. vice presidential nominee mike pence will make a stop in colorado springs. that's happening tomorrow night at 7 - at the colorado springs event center. tickets can be found on the campaign's website... they are first come - first serve. u-s senator and former presdiential candidate ted cruz will also be here today. he's joining colorado senate nominee darryl glenn for two rallies.. one in loveland at 11...

golf course at 3-15 this afternoon. glenn is running against incumbent michael bennett and says - he believes support from cruz - will help flip colorado's senate seat to the republican side. a state senator from colorado springs is trying to change the law - that makes it illegal to take a selfie with your completed ballot. republican owen hill - filed a suit in federal court. the law dates back to 1891 - and makes it a misdemeanor for voters to reveal their completed ballots - to prevent voter coercion. hill calls the law outdated - and considers ballot selfies: a form of po expression. the secretary of state's office -- says it believes the law protects the integrity of the election. voters can share photos of sealed or blank ballots to their heart's content. if you have questions about what's on your ballot - we have a colorado voter guide on 9news dot com. we have information on colorado's 9 ballot questions - and resources - on the judges in retention races.

angela vonnida pled guilty to the family of 10 year old aislinn shelley wanted a felony conviction. aislinn has the cognitive ability of a 6 month old. the family had hired vonnida through an agency to care for her this summer. as part of the plea agreement - vonnida must serve three years of

for a prescription and f-d-a-approved product is your best bet. if you drive a pickup truck... your headlights probably aren't the best... the insurance institute for highway safety just released new ratings for pick-up truck headlights.. and the results aren't very bright.. eleven small and large pickup trucks were tested... and only one earned a "good" rating. most of them - including the popular ford f-150 -- rated "poor." the i-i-h-s says - they test how far the high and low beams project on straight and curved roads...as well as the amount of glare oncoming drivers will face. starting next year -- headlight ratings will be included in the criteria for the i-i-h-s "top safety pick" award. we don't have a lot to complain about here in colorado...
