guy. look at this. so cliff snapped this picture in boulder this morning. yes, that's a bear up in a tree on university hill in west boulder. so animal control officers are there, monitoring the bear. neighbors in this area say bear sightings are pretty common and hope this little guy or girl will come down out of the tree and just mosey over to somewhere safe. >> no hibernation needed right now. it's too warm. >> too oohottohibernate. a legal battle between the divorced parents of 13-year-old dylan redwine is over after a colorado court dismiss the second of two lawsuits they filled against each other. dylan disappeared in 2012 in southwestern colorado and some remains were found in 2013, but the cause of death is still a mystery. his mother, elaine hall, alarged dylan's dad was responsible. that was dismissed because it

unanimously approved the area for a brand-new hotel. although a handful of plans need to be finalized, it's a very good chance this will all be gone by 2018. >> the hill has been in decline for so many years that it's a struggle to stay open. there's tremendous of. many buildings are dilapidated and there's a serious need for a project to regentrify, re- energize th lead developer on this project. he wants to lift the community, not disrupt it. >> our goal is move forward to meet tenant and help with plans if they want to stay open. >> reporter: it will have 20,000 to 30,000 square feet of retail and dining space. he wants to collaborate with students and neighbors to mind is best possible solution to benefit their needs but some say the best thing to do is leave the area alone. >> it's a little rundown, but the people use this, like --

here. >> it's a hard issue. that was a good story. well, google has big plans but hate bump in the road. the company had been trying to spread high-speed fiber on it service around the u.s. but the so-called google fiber won't come to colorado soon. the company said it's freezing plans to expand the work he beyond the nine cities it's already in, meaning several potential fiber cities will have to wait. it's pausing operations while they that runs fiber announced he will be stepping down. in addition, some of the company's employees will be laid off. there's no word on how many. if you haven't been to jefferson street park yet in fort collins, you won't go any time soon. fort collins is closing down the decades-old historic park, recently known as hangout for homeless and transient people. it's at the corner of lyndon and jefferson street and will be officially decommissioned

69, mostly sunny skies, wind out of the south-southeast at 11 miles per hour and in the back yard, a light breeze and mid-60s, a really nice afternoon on our hands. you can see by this afternoon we'll warm up even more so probably another good ten degrees to the mid-70s, a little warmer, closer to 80, eastern plains, 59 frisco and 70s from rifle to grand junction. there's nothing going on, no rain or however, there's moisture keeping in across the west coast, pacific northwest, just getting doused with some rain showers from portland up through seattle, a little snowfall around the cascades and rainfall into spokane, too. the snow track staying north and in chicago, they're soaked with heavy rain with the heavy rain in st. louis and oklahoma. mostly clear. we'll drop into the mid-40s,

the year and the regs of the evening is pleasant and a few high level clouds that will dissipate, wall-to-wall sunshine and by 6:00 p.m., we'll look at partly cloudy skies by tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. with all the sunshine, we will warm up and records. my forecast at 81. 82 on friday. i believe it will be another record-breaker, a little cool off, mid-70s on saturday and sunday is fantastic for the football game, another hot one, and low 70s on monday, a fantastic evening for all those trick-or-treaters. don't go anywhere.

you know, what's happening in the cockpit? >> reporter: liz keller was one of 400 passengers on british airways flight 286 heading from san francisco to london monday night when the plane was forced to land in vancouver. >> i looked at the tv screen and i saw that we have done a complete u-turn and was just like, what's going on here? >> reporter: passengerses were confused when first responders rushed crew members to the hospital. >> when i got off the plane, i could see the firemen were there, everyone just looked bit confused, and unsure of exactly what was happening. >> reporter: none of the passengers were sick and all of the crew members were later released from the hospital. the cause of the illnesses still a mystery. >> if there is any type of emergency, you're dependent upon that cabin crew. if they're lethargic, not mentally or physically capable of assists passengers in any type of emergency situation, then that puts passenger safety at risk. >> reporter: british airwayses sent passengers a letter
