what if he continued to shoot at the hospital? officer durrell is to be commented. >> dan bright was taken to the hospital with no pulse. and his family was told he had 1% chance of surviving. he did survive and he's recovering at craig hospital. his boss told us he is a warrior. investigators are still piecing together if the multiple gu the scene of the crash and at the house -- if those guns were legal. but he was highly armed. he had a shotgun -- and a rifle. officers recovered an entire hidden gun room in his garage. his reasoning is not clear to

clouds sitting over the city. the gray line is the forecast and the yellow line, the record highs. we're aiming for a record today, and tomorrow we could tie one. and then we'll see a gradual cooloff that takes us farther away from the record highs by the middle of next week. 76 right now. 70 around greeley. and 67 fort collins. and middle to upper 70s in the eastern plains locations. and 50s across the northern beautiful blue skies and current temperature is 69 degrees. we're going to be warming up very quickly, getting into the 80s today. high pressure is right over us. we're dry from the western slope to the eastern plains. nothing is showing up on the radar screen and we're not expecting anything. high, thin clouds and over the metro area, those will get thicker tomorrow morning and stay out to the west. we have a fairly sunny day tomorrow afternoon.

the upper levels. that's allowing the warm air to make its way to the state. we have a couple of changes coming our way. highs today reaching 81. 79 for fort collins. and we reach the lower to middle 80s on the eastern plains. mountain areas in the lower to middle 60s. 70s on the western slope. if we hit 81 degrees for a high, that would set a new record for us. way back in 1966. winds out of the south overnight five to 15 miles per hour. westerly winds in store for tonight. 48 is pretty warm for an overnight low this time of year. and 80 on friday. so tomorrow a very warm day, possibly a record tying one. saturday and sunday we'll be in the middle 70s and we're looking at fairly dry days both days. and a few clouds saturday

up. someone got in her red subaru and took off. on wednesday her husband went to take out the crash and saw portland police pull over a red subaru. it was her car. >> wrapped inside of it was $30 in cash as part of an apology. >> the apology? the apparent car thief says she took the car by mistake. she was friend's red subaru. turns out that keys can sometimes work in different cars. that's a good lesson to know. everyone was happy and a little embarrassed. some wisconsin parents are allowed to legally host underage parties and serve alcohol. the case was brought forward by a wisconsin man who was written up after teens were caught drinking at his home.
