morning after explosive chemicals were found in a castle rock home. police detonated those explosive chemicals late monday night-- 12 hours after the on west prestwick way. police say the chemicals could have been used to make bombs. this morning-- they say two teens are behind it all. we're going to have more on that story in just a minute... good morning im corey in with gary cheryl and marty this morning. marty- what a perfect night for

the families evacuated from the plum creek neighborhood -- should be able to return home in a few hours.... police told people living in 30 homes along west prestwick way to leave their homes monday afternoon-- when they found suspicious chemicals and devices. the fbi and atf were called in to take a closer look with their advanced equipment. a hazmat decontamination area was set up near the home --- but for safety reasons - ew waited for hours before going inside. the investigation went long into the night. > castle rock police says they'll start reaching out to the evacuees by phone starting at 7 this morning. any neighbors with questions should

"where the director has discussed an investigation involving one candidate, it opens the director up to claims of bias if he doesn't discuss other potential investigations." manafort denies receiving more than 12 million in cash from pro- russian politicians at a time when trump praised the country's leader and the u-s suspects russia of hacking. the fbi's last- minute review of clinton's emails - just days before the election - has energized the trump campaign: presidential nominee :59-1:04 "i guarantee you there are many. many of the emails that are missing were in there." wikileaks emails also revealed the head of the democratic party donna brazile gave clinton a heads up on debate questions in advance. but nbc's latest poll shows the email controversy doesn't appear to sway voters. clinton's ahead by six points... the same as last week, before the fbi reivew. tracie potts, nbc news, washington.

as the race winds down-- trump's running mate will make another visit to colorado tomorrow night. mike pence will be at the ranch in loveland for the event-- ticket information is on the trump campaign website. chelsea clinton will be in aurora today campaigning for her mother during a get out the vote event. the event will be open to the public at the martin luther king juniorr library. doors open at 5. accused of bank robberies-- car jackings-- and a shooting in lakewood will get underway in just hours. myloh mason-- tyrone richardson, and miguel sanders are known as the "scream" robbers because of the masks police say they wore during the crimes. they're accused of robbing the first bank in lakewood last november -- and a carjacking and a shooting in lakewood and sheridan. attorneys for the men argue: you can't telll who the robbers are - because of the masks. an investigator who took the stand said clothing and masks later found in an abandoned car

matched the three suspects. an adams county 14 school district board member is expected in court today over charges he lured a child on the internet. rt vashaw was arrested during a child sex sting operation in september. police say he tried to sexually assault a child-- and used the internet to lure a child to him. no students from his district were involved. the preliminary hearing for vashaw is set for this afternoon. the bureau of land knows who was behind nail boards placed along a biking trail in eagle county. the bureau found the eight 18-inch wood nail boards last month on a one-mile stretch of informal trail between the popular red neck and pool and ice routes. the nail boards had 12 to 15 nails facing upwards. the blm hasn't identified the vandalism suspect-- and it's unclear if they've been

r-t-d to fix issues with the a-line train to the plane is fast approaching. late last week rtd leaders met with federal raiload officials in washington d-c. washington will have to approve r- t-d's plans to fix the software issues controlling the crossing gates. rtd has until saturday to outline a fix - or the a-line could be forced to shut down. if that happens r- t-d told our partners at the denver business journal that there is already a backup plan ready to go. buses would run in place of the trains every 15 minutes between union station and d-i-a. some buses would stop at other stations -- others would be direct. we're taking a live look at progressive field in cleveland ahead of tonight's game 6 of the world series. first pitch is set for 6 denver time. and it's another elimination game for the chicago cubs. the indians lead the cubs three games to two right now. there's been a lot of hype about how historic a cubs win

his sexual assault accusations. prosecutors say they'll call 13 accusers to prove he drugged and molested women as part of a "signature" crime spree over five decades. cosby is charged with drugging and molesting a former temple university employee in 2004. he's pleaded not guilty and is free today on one million dollars bail. his trial is scheduled to start in june. the oklahoma highway patrol says it may release video of a deadly encounter between deputies and a suspected murderer on the run. the highway patrol says it'll give a press conference today on the michael vance manhunt. vance led authorites on an 8 day long chase after shot two oklahoma police officers and killed two relatives. he was pulled over by deputies on sunday. after shooting on one of them he led another chase- and fired on law enforcement again. he was killed in that second

dakota access pipeline continue today-- some people who aren't at standing rock indian reservation are checking in there on facebook anyway. the mass check-ins were organized to confuse local law enforcement -- said to be tracking protesters on social media. the check-ins are meant to be a show of solidarity-- but the sheriff's department says it is not using facebook and calls that claim "absolutely false." activists say the pipeline could taint water supplies and destroy sacred burial sites. at those protests-- is facing attempted murder charges. police say 37 year old red fawn fallis pulled a gun on officers - and fired three shots. it happened last thursday as police say they were trying to move fallis and a group of others away from private property. they say she almost hit a sheriff's deputy when she fired. deputies did not fire back. police in north dakota have arrested fallis before - twice - in september during pipeline protests. she pleaded not guilty to disorderly

the increase last year was slight..... from about 9 point 57 to 9 point 63 percent. that represents 2-thousand more babies born before 37 weeks gestation. the rise earned the u-s a "c" grade in this year's march of dimes premature birth report card. march of dimes say they'll need to focus on african american and and ethnic minority groups. that's where the rise in preterm bi the march of dimes says elective c- sections should not occur before 39 weeks gestation. that's the point at which the brain is most likely to be fully developed.
