took a pipeline over the weekend. demonstrators were trying to stop a truck driver from going down a public road. cooler heads did prevail in the end. the protests have been going on for months the argument is protecting water supplies and native american rights and energy needs and private property rights. police need your help finding what led to a double stabbing in commerce city. city police told us the two people leaving the homily park apartments around 4:30 in the morning. they both had stab wounds and were taken to the hospital. they're expected to be okay if you know about this, call police (303)287-2844. . a lot of talk about the super moon again. for us, it didn't get fuller. doesn't really get full until 6:52 a.m. we have another great shot to see it later this evening.

. we have a few high clouds north and west because of the storm system in the northern rockies. that's not the one going to affect us later in the week. it's spinning off the coast of oregon and washington. high last several weeks weeks is finally going to begin to move later this week, especially wednesday into thursday. we get sun this morning, couple cloud this is afternoon. they might block your view of the super moon rise.

evening. i don't think we'll be overcast. you should be able to see it over much of the state. 60s to 70s here, not very much wind. 60s and 70s in mountain areas. start with sun, finish with couple bands of clouds. timing of clouds is the time the moon comes up tonight. then we'll scoot south and clear out later this evening. low 60s in the west. 50s to near 60 in mountain areas. consistent in eastern from upper 60s to low 70s. few afternoon clouds around. sticking around the early part of the evening, super moon rise at 5:24 this evening. the next two days, warm conditions for us. near record heat tuesday and wednesday. i'm forecasting just shy of the record highs. on thursday, a light rain snow shower possible in the afternoon. just a windy cold day coming up on friday. by saturday, not really much of a warm up.

freezes the early morning part of the end of the week. >> is it weird i'm looking forward to that? >> let's do it. it's november. let's look at i-25 and 112th. see flashing lights there. the other bad news is fact to the north and south, we have accidents on i-25 southbound. let's look at the map so we can show you. folks up north headed down south, not going to be easy for you. zooming in, see o southbound at 120th. we're turning red here. that accident happened a few minutes ago. when you go further south to i-25 and 84th, you've got another accident there you're bumping into them back to back. not good news coming from the north headed to denver. you have to contend with those. this is 36 and baseline. this is looking good if you're headed out to that area around bolder today. people waking up getting going

feeling major aftershock this is morning after a 7.8 magnitude quake hit there overnight. it struck after midnight causing a billion dollars in damage. it's a mostly rural area. two people died in the earthquake. an island of grass was rip add part stranding three cows. everything collapsed around them. damage to a main highway cut off one one year including the lighting for thousands of ran earns. they were set float in the canal canal. terrorists attacked bars, restaurant, concert hall.

the suspect also killed his pregnant wife and then killed himself. a second officer was injured in that attack. an airline pilot accused of getting drunk before a flight is in court today. police arrested 38-year-old sky west russell at the rapid city regional airport in last month. >> after a politically charged

here. they've been telling the people on park they've got until tuesday to start moving on denver police and human services have cleared out two other camp this is year, one here in the ball park neighborhood in march. behind the national western complex in september. homeless advocates are suing the city over those sweeps saying the city illegally seized and damaged their property. they're clearing out the camp here a second time. homeless advocates say this highlights the need for the bill they've been trying to the colorado legislator. they call it right to rest bill. it would stop camping bans like the one in denver allowing police to do this thing. a similar bill died in committee earlier this year. they're trying to push again with upcoming legislative session. back to you all. all right thank you much. over night the super moonlit up the sky from california to spain which is where this video was shot. the reason it looks so bright

week. by wednesday, we'll really see things start to shift. a few clouds here and there over the area today. not an exciting day unless you like warm, dry weather. 60s, low 70s at lower terrain. 50s and 60s in the mountains. not particularly windy as well. late this evening, few batches of clouds here and there. may block your view of the super moon which again rises at 5:24. i think if you're patient, you'll see it move tgh tonight. 60s to near 70s throughout the eastern front range. 50s and 60s in mountain areas. for us, partly cloudy. stays warm for us today. low 70s today. tonight dropping into the low 40s, few high clouds around. that moon rise at 5:24 over the eastern horizon. two really warm days coming up. near record heat tomorrow and

it started near east 114th and brighton. two sheds burned before firefighters could get this under control. >> despite a number of homeless people suing the city of denver over police sweeping them off the street, officers set to clear them out again this week. starting tomorrow, police dismantle homeless camps near the ball park. they'll belongings on sidewalks. last sweep happened in september. we have yet another warm, dry day in store. it will not be as windy today as yesterday we do have really high fire danger over the area. warmer even tomorrow and wednesday with mid to upper 70s in those areas. on thursday, we do have the storm system that will mainly affect mountain areas and then it will also hit wyoming and i think even the panhandle of
