in commerce city. littleton police are looking for the body of 36-year-old charlene voyt. she was reported missing july 8th. her disappearance was considered suspicious after authorities found her abandoned car in a dirt lot. court records showed she feared for her life before she went missing. she asked for a restraining order against her boyfriend jeffrey in this picture. restraining order in 2012. he was arrested july theth -- july 12th in sexual assault in an unrelated case. those were dropped in september. authorities now looking in a landfill for the body of charlene voyt. we'll keep you updated. fire crews are on the scene of a grass fire. jefferson county dispatch

near south creek road. dispatch says there are possibly downed power lines in that area. firefighters say the small blaze is almost under control, nearly out the road was closed because smoke was cutting down on visibility. speaking of those really dry and warm conditions, let's talk about that with our meteorologist. not good. especially the fact we're in november and it's still dry and warm. >> we're currently under a moderate drought. salary of $1 a year. if that goes through, it will save taxpayers $1.6 million ore his four year term. he also says he won't take any long vacations while he's president. . protests over the dakota access pipeline almost took a violent turn over the weekend. a truck driver pulled out a gun. e for a few minutes. everything calmed down, and no one was hurt. protestors against the pipeline have been going on for months. the argument is pitting water supplies and native american rights against energy needs and private property rights. this week in denver, there will be more sweeps removing tents and belongings of homeless. it's the latest in a series of sweeps prompting a lawsuit

>> reporter: down from laurence on park, this camp is set up. overnight, we saw a lot of people sleeping on the street. piles of people's belongings, hip high and some places head high. city i shall ifs are going to come in, take apart the camp, ship out what's left. this is the third major sweep this year. the city broke up a camp in the ball park neighborhood in march. another one in september now this camp is back in the ball park neighborhood. the pattern here, officials come people with services, get them time to clear out. then they come in and pick out what's left. they've put stuff in storage they say for these people. several homeless people are challenging that in federal court. they say rights are being violated with illegal seizures and property. the city 's stance on all this, they say camps are dangerous. they've got trash, use needles and human wastes. they say they've got to go.

future cast will show few high clouds and that's it. this evening, our skies clear. tomorrow morning, stronger winds develop close to the foothills. we could have a development and bit of a mountain wave cloud. temperatures in the overnight hours aren't as cold as what they could be. those clouds act as a blanket for us. 70s this afternoon. this evening after the sunset, temperatures in the 60s, 50s, overnight hours. those temperatures in the 40s. 41 your overnight low. high morning. temperatures across the state drop to teens and 20s. some mountain locations. 30s in northern colorado, same goes for greeley. mix of 30s and 40s on the eastern plains. next two days, high pressure in control. we'll have winds increase and temperatures warm up. we could see near record highs tomorrow and wednesday. then the changes arrive on thursday with that next storm system that's going to increase

we all know that distracting driving can be dangerous. a study shows it can affect your body physically. researchers at texas a.m. university did a study to capture data on what happens when people aren't paying tension to the road. they found when drivers have more than one thing to do they get stressed. during the simulation, drivers were so mismanaged speeds, ignored speed limbs and crossed over -- speed limits and crossed over lines in the road. >> just as you would monitor engine temperature and oil pressure. we literally measure the pressure on the driver and see whether or not they're under a lot of stress and whether or not it's affecting their
