stop her from releasing their sex tape. the lawsuit says the plaintiff believed to be von miller has received the highest honors, awards, and accolades available in his profession. the lawsuit also claims the woman at the center of this wants to quote, be the next kim kardashian. a judge signed an order, prohibiting the woman from duplicating, or releasing the recording. reporters after practice today, and the team is not discussing the situation. they were picked to finish 11th in their conference. tonight, the cu football team is ranked 10 in one poll. they're ranked ahead of ?? oklahoma state, auburn, florida state, and nebraska to name a few. the next two games will

pac-12 championship. the last time we saw snow in denver was in may. the last official measurable rainfall was october 12. hard to talk snow when it's 70s during the day, and in the 50s and even right around 60 degrees at 10:00 at night. however, we might get the chance to see snow. maybe a rain/snow mix before the end of the week. temperatures are going to drop 30 to 40 degrees after tomorrow. thursday will be the day and what could be our first moisture in the metro area in 37 days. the probability of rain or snow, coming up in a few minutes. two of the biggest police departments in colorado are making a point of saying publicly, they will not get involved in enforcing immigration law. they do not now, and say that will not change under the trump administration. they've been getting a lot of questions from the public, considering donald trump's call

to build trust with local police. >> actually, it can really be damaging to police work. >> reporter: the coalition is counting on that trust. so is the community. >> i think it's mostly about keeping their word accountable. >> reporter: uncertain about the future. >> we reached out to denver mayor michael hancock this afternoon. he issued a statement saying denver is a welcoming, and inclusive city. he said denver will comply with federal immigration laws, but will never support unlawful detention. it's unclear how the cities of denver, or aurora will respond if federal deportation efforts ramp up, but we do know that governor hickenlooper has said he will resist any federal efforts to enact a mass deportation campaign. >> made that clear during the campaign.

post-election protests took place last week in portland. finding 70% of those taken into custody didn't even vote there. out of the 112 arrests 39 were registered in oregon, but did not return a ballot in the election. 36 arrested are not even registered to vote in that state. one protester arrested said he didn't vote because of the electoral college. that's why he was there, and wanted to see that changed. four of those arrested are under th perhaps none of this hubbub will matter if the electoral college snatches the victory away from donald trump. highly unlikely? correct. but there is an elector from denver trying to convince his colleagues to do that. he is appealing to electors nationwide to pick any other republican but trump. he talked to next about his idea for an electoral college

>> reporter: dr. earl hirsh says it needs as much scrutiny as the epipen. the patent was sold to toronto for $3. trials in the u.s. began not long after. >> my in kansas city. >> and he was on the trials? >> he was a diabetic, yes. >> reporter: mark also has diabetes. he knows he's paying dearly for the new stuff. >> my out of pocket costs for insulin based products have gone up 50% this last year. >> reporter: only three companies make insulin. few even bother to hide that they like to price based on what the other guys are doing.

they raised the price between 2012 and 2015. now look at their competitor. >> these are competitors. so market driving forces, we would expect them to lower the price. the reason that they're not is because they don't have to. >> they don't have to. that's the key. in the u.s., where not even medicare can negotiate prices, ey bear. >> the basic economics is that is an inelastic demand curve. at a certain point, the people will pay whatever you charge. >> reporter: as insulin companies tweak their formulas, making the products better, they manage to obtain new patents. they then stop producing the older, and cheaper versions. >> what you see is, is that people can't afford this innovation. >> reporter: with no generics on the market, companies have

list price to near $300 a vial. >> that is a lot for a vial of insulin considering in 1996, that same vial of insulin was $24. >> reporter: in canada, a country that can negotiate drug prices, a five second search of the internet found a $71 vial of humalog. in the u.s., it's $260, and that's >> reporter: so the stalemate continues. >> there's no vacations in our future. >> reporter: this is as far as the heims are concerned is no gain. >> every penny is counted. >> reporter: in more ways than one. >> every penny we can save so that we can pay for her insulin. >> reporter: so there is potential for relief for the families, for many other

with thanksgiving just over a week away, the outlook for black friday is being forecast. the holiday shopping might be a little different this year, mainly because there's no waiting. plenty of deals are being offered before thanksgiving, unless there are those who simply like to do it, there not be as many long lines, because the best deals may be online. for those willing to wait until

southwest. we've been hovering around 60 degrees. just beautiful as the evening progresses. the storm is coming from the gulf of alaska. already seeing signs that that precipitation is going to be of the froze be variety across the cascades, the sierras, and eventually colorado's mountains. the high country welcoming 5 to 10 inches of snow between wednesday night, and midday thursday. denver will get in on a little bit of the action. we'll get a brief shot of rain on thursday morning, then it's going to switch over to snow. there will be a little burst of melting precipitation snow. it may affect rush hour a bit. but by thursday night, skies clear, and temperatures are going to drop like a rock. no advisories for denver, but until the northern, and central mountains, a northern storm watch out. gusty winds and blowing snow will be an issue. 5 to 10 inches of snow wednesday night through friday morning. not a lot to show you on the radar right now, but the system is finally moving onshore. as it does, we'll really start

system. a high pressure bridge breaking down, allowing for this mid-and upper level cloud ridge to come in. tomorrow, a windy, and warmer day. but good travel on the i-25 corridor and in and out of the high country. precipitation stays in the northwest for now. with the secondary front to the north, initially rain, then all snow for lower elevations. fast moving storm, but temperatures drop out of the upper 70s, and lower 80s into clouds increasing across the western slope tomorrow. then the front range by tomorrow. even with that cloud deck, temperatures will be running a good 25 degrees above average. that increase in fire danger, prompting the national weather service to issue a red flag warning. gusty winds out of the southwest. mild night. 30s in the high country. 40s for lower elevations.

tricky heading into the wee hours of thursday morning. up in the mountains. 67 in idaho springs, and 65 in evergreen. in denver for tonight, beautiful, quiet. sun's up just before 7:00. temperatures in the 50s when you step out in the morning. kids want to wear shorts to school in mid-november, why not? snow boots and a parka on friday, with cold air blowing. 1 to 2 inches of melting accumulate. don't know that we'll see our first official snow at dia, but that moisture is there. clearing, cold, windy, on friday, warmer for the weekend. tracking another storm for after thanksgiving that may affect travel, and i'll have a lot more tomorrow.

hi everybody, broncos quarterback, trevor siemian is having a good season so far. siemian struggled to protect the football the last couple weeks, and although the team has won 7 of 9 games he's started, he can be so much better. >> we want him to be great quick. i want trevor to play at as high of a level as possibly play at down the stretch. one thing about it, you get in these positions, regardless of who's in there, whether they played 7 games or whether they played 70 games. it's time to be your best. >> i think it's good, i think, you know, kube expects a lot out of me. i expect a lot out of myself truthfully. take it for what it is, i'd rather have that than the other way around.

the avs beat the large kings. a scrap behind the net, and when he got to the penalty box, mcleod realized his helmet was broken. one of the officials kindly skated over to the bench to get a replacement, but some wise guy send him back with an injured forward matt duchene's head gear, which is about four sizes too small. everybody got a good laugh, mostly because the avs won 4-1. the still comes from milan, where sebastian rudy completely lost his head during an international friendly. in the still of the night. ?
