. 6:00 a.m. after the very first city snow of the season. drivers are sort of getting ice legs back. getting use to driving on slick road conditions. we've seen a lot of action so far this morning. we want to check in with our 9 news editor. she's been listening to police basically at the desk of all information that floods in since 3:00 a.m. what have you been hearing most, what kind of crashes? >> most has been southeast part of town where andrew started his day earlier. nothing major, just slideoffs and single vehicle accidents where slushy and icy. >> we've got icy shoulders and that sheen that makes it little difficult to stop. farce our roads this morning,

that sheen across 25 and quincy. you get out across the maps. we don't have too much to worry about to the west side, just really the south and east. this is our biggest delay. talking 225 northbound leading up toward the exit at 6th avenue. backups added up to 27 minutes on your drive. a 30 minute commute is vastly different than northbound 225. it's typically a 10 minute delay. 24 miles per hour the average speed. crashes clearing out across the elevated deck, we're clear at brighton. elevated areas, overpass, bridges, cold air circulates underneath. stays icier than the rest of our drive. we've seen most the slideoffs and people having difficulty stopping. we're going to head out live and check with andrew who's been tracking around the city.
