the ongoing violence in syria... it's been confirmed - that russian president vladimir putin will meet with secretary of state john kerry in moscow. john huddy is in jerusalem with the latest. these -- some of the latest pictures out of syria... where the ongoing civil war continues... now - the u.s. says there's a diplomatic push set for next week ...talks aimed at finding an end to the violence. monday, secretary of state john kerry will take part in high-level meetings in paris...with european and arab foreign ministers. then, on tuesday, secretary kerry will head to moscow for talks with russian president vladimir putin and foreign minister sergey lavrov. the discussions come at a tense time between the u-s and russia... as the u-s is only targeting isis in syria... but, russia is also taking aim at some syrian rebel groups....as moscow is working to help syrian president bashar assad maintain power. lavrov (english translator) says: "to decide the fate of bashar al assad ? this is of course

teams are searching a lake - that may have been visited by the attackers. it's just a few miles from the inland regional center - where shooting took place. investigators are hoping to find crucial evidence - including the hard drive missing from the couple's computer. "what happened in the four hours between the attack and when these people were killed. they did something during that period. second big question is, who else were they in touch with. investigators say a third person - enrique marquez - purchased weapons used by syed farook and tashfeen malik in the attack. he has yet to be charged - as the f-b-i tries to solidify the case against him. a former police officer in oklahoma is found guilty of rape and sexual battery. prosecutors say he preyed on women in one of oklahoma's poorest neighborhoods. andrew spencer reports on the jury's decision. former oklahoma city police officer daniel holtzclaw shook nervously as the judge started reading the jury's verdict...

"count eight: defendant is guilty of the crime of forcible oral sodomy and punishment is set at 20 years." a jury of eight men and four women deliberated for more than forty hours before finding holtzclaw guilty of rape and sexual battery -- in all, 18 of the 36 charges he faced. outside the courtroom, demonstrators had little sympathy for holtzclaw, who was convicted on his twenty-ninth birthday... ( protesters singing ) "happy birthday to you!" while some of them find justice in the guilty verdict, others worry about what the punishment will be when holtzclaw is formally sentenced in january. ( demonstrator outside court ) "i'm sure that they're going to try and run it together so he won't see nothing but 30 years, and that's not fair to us. it's not fair to my daughter. it's not fair to any of the victims or the people of our community." holtzclaw was fired from the police department last year, when the allegations surfaced; one woman came forward to accuse him of "sexual

a traffic stop. the charges snowballed from there, and he was eventually accused of assaulting or raping 13 women while he was on the job. holtzclaw and members of his family have maintained that he wasn't guilty of those crimes. now, he could spend the rest of his life in prison. i'm andrew spencer, reporting one of the victims accused the officer of raping her in a hospital - while she was handcuffed to a bed. a fourteen year old boy with the dream of becoming a navy seal... is fighting his second battle with leukemia. the seal swim charities group heard about the b.j correll's brave struggle - and wanted to honor him. the group of retired seals surprised the boy in his hospital room in north carolina - naming him an honorary seal.
