we're going to go see donald trumps rally tonight at the west gate hotel. . . . we're enjoying our vegas trip and we're looking forward to seeing donald trump tonight and hearing what he has to say officials with the venetian say they've been working with cnn and the republican national committee for about a year. trump remains the front runner and will be center stage. but since the start of the debate cycle - when 15 candidates were seated at the republican table - the number of contenders has dropped to nine...and experts say its only a matter of time until that number gets smaller. by the end of the first round of caucuses and primaries of which nevada is one of the first five - we'll be down to only 4 or 5 republicans who will really have a shot. with such an extravagant event - also comes hightened security. officials with the venetian say they will have elevated security measures in place for tomorrow night. live from the venetian abby theodros fox5 news local las vegas

rubio's rally. today he spoke at the renaissance hotel. rubio criticized the obama administration for not viewing isis and radical islamists as a serious threat. where she died. witnesses say the woman was inside a vehicle with the suspect before they both got out... and she was shot several times. detectives say they're not yet prepared to release information on the suspect or the vehicle involved. not long before that shooting and not far from the another shooting-- old woman was 19-year-old norman smith is now facing one count of murder as a result of the woman's death. she's been identifed by the coroner as tinefhea adams she was shot in the chest - in a strip mall parking lot near craig and mlk just before 10 last night. north las vegas police say she was also taken to umc where she died. it's not clear the relationship the shooter had with the woman-- but they believe the two knew each other prior to the incident. "it appears there may have been some sort of argument before the shooting occurred. so there were lots of people out here who saw what happened, detectives are interviewing those folks to find out exactly what went down so we can try to piece it together. call the department... or to remain anonymous... call crime stoppers at 702-385-55-55. the man accused of abducting a young girl from arizona and repeatedly raping here faced a judge again today. 26-year old jimmy kim now faces sixty counts.. this includes 31 of sexual assault with a minor under 16 years old.. and 22 sexual assault with a minor under 16. the judge also set a new and much higher bail at one-point-five million dollars. court in january for it appears former clark county collins is facing a d-u-i charge. he was arrested friday night under his full name - clarence weldon collins. posts on social he was spending time beforehand at the national finals rodeo. collins was booked into the clark county jail... and freed pending an initial court appearance. collins resigned in august from the commission - citing

hoverboard transportation devices are a popular holiday gift item - but they're also being called dangerous. the consumer product safety commission is investigating at least ten reports of fires related to the products. now - it appears that amazon is refusing to carry many of them - according to "swagway" - a producer of several models. it says the online retailer is requesting that manufacturers offer proof that their hoverboards are safe - before they are allowed to be sold. some airlines have even banned them from flights - and one customer in louisina says a fire from the product caused her house to burn down. is the liability worth the risk? fox five legal analyst bob massi joins us now - for
