definitely any uncertainty definitely hurts your business. and theres so much uncertainty here. - its def an industry killer today's public utlities commission hearing was the latest in a series of talks on the fate of new rates for solar power customers. with the commission- approved rate structure - basic fees will go up and the credit for excess energy put back on the grid by solar customers goes down. a group of opponents-who say the change is unfair and harms both solar businesses and customers filed a stay that would delay the new structure until the commission rehears it. one solar alliance attorney said at the very least the motion will give people time to process the changes. atty: the interpretation of this order and it's impact on customers is vastly different and i cant think of a better reason to grant a stay especially for customers who are immediately impacted. by contrast - commissioners showed no signs of negotiating suggesting a stay would complicate the matter. commissioner : the commission should refrain from granting a stay of its orders and this is to ensure the clarity and finality in its proceedings.
