if convicted on all 71 charges she could face more than a thousand years in prison. just as jury deliberations get underway in the trial of a former pastor-- accused of abusing young girls. new charges were filed against him today. new charges have been filed against otis holland that names 5 new victims of sexual abuse. prosecutors say new evidence and information allowed them to file these charges. he is on trial now for separate 14 counts of abuse-- he was arrested in december 2010 on charges related to sexually assaulting girls and women from his church. now the jury is out.... submission does not necessarily mean consent fact that you submit to a thing not mean you can consent to it not mean you want that thing to happen they feel like he is giving more attention to two adult women is romantically involved with that

this case deliberations will begin tomorrow morning at nine. bail has been set for the man accused of sexually abusing children... over more than a decade. christopher sena was arrested in december 2014--- along with his ex wife-- terrie sena and current wife debra sena. police say sena would videotape the abuse. his bail has been set at 11 million dollars. terrie sena accepted a plea deal last year... she was sentenced to ten years to life in prison. debra sena will go to trial next month. its a case of church versus bar... but the real fight is against the city. looking to expand and the city approved the plans... but some neighboring churches and property owners think all of the economic growth downtown is happening at their expense... fox 5's miguel martinez-valle joins us from east fremont with the details atomic liquors bar is not technically in the entertainment district of

" opening a bar and a restaurant is the kind of development that the city should want, if they dont want this kind of development the city is going to die, again." not everyone in the neighborhood seems to agree... " are we to be changed into an entertainment center or are we again going to be that which we are, a community, where there's churches and where theres people living here." their biggest concern, noise, they asked the city to add a limit to the amount of noise the bar could make, the city approved the expansion request without one...

unlv-- confirms-- it purchased 42 acres of land. real estate group "colliers international" announced the closed deal with unlv today. the stretch of land is along tropicana and koval lane. the landlocked university wants to expand... and has several options for this space, including a new stadium, additional housing, retail, or research space. henderson is getting some improvements... the city breaking ground today on the racetrack road improvement project. this is the 138th project in southern nevada, we're not only creating jobs but we're building needed infrastructure in our community and racetrack rd has needed improvements for some time." the taxi industry in clark county - is overcharging their riders - up to 47 million dollars a year. among questionable decisions the board has made - how they reallocated a fuel surcharge. the authority temporarily raised mileage rates by 20 cents when gas prices were rising. last summer gas prices dropped - but instead of also dropping the 20 cents - "what they actually did was take about half and put it into the permanent rate so part of that 20 cents became a permanent increase." 8 was added to the permanent fare - 12 cents remains fuel surcharge. another cost the report questions - three dollar fee credit card fee the board approved in 2010. "clark county is one of the few areas in the country where the riding public is charged a credit card fee." last but not least - the report alleges board members overstepped their

"there are two specific administration decisions that were overturned by the board." the nevada taxicab authority was established in 1969 to ensure safety comfort and convenience to the public. weinberger says now they seem to cater to the taxi companies - where he believes all excess money is going. now with competition like uber and lyft in town - riders are starting to see the excess on the dashboards. "to pay 30 40 dollars to go 5 to 10 minutes is rediculous." the senate voted today to block the syrian refugee bill. in a vote of 55 to 43. it was a measure that would have impacted thousands of refugees in the middle east. as dianne gallagher explains-- lawmakers continue to debate how to handle these refugees while keeping americans safe. in a major move on capitol hill the senate voted down an effort to advance a controversial bill that would significantly curb the flow of iraqi and syrian refugees from entering the united states. it's a vote that weighs heavy- both on national security and the 20-16 campaign- as the country grapples with how to handle the growing humanitarian crisis this bill would have required every single person from syria or iraq- and even those refugees who have visited those countries in the past five years- to be verified by the f-b-i, homeland security and director of national intelligence.
