minor under the age of 16 years of age guilty of sexual assault with a minor under 16 years of age." the jury found 59-year old otis holland guilty of 17 total felony charges. multiple women testified that they had sex or sexual contact with the former pastor at the united faith church in henderson when they were teens. holland denied wrong doing and claimed they concocted stories about being abused because they were jealous of his adult relationships. the victims were there for the reading of the verdict. - i'm feeling exceptionally relieved about the fact that i don't ever have to go through this anymore. it's burdened my life a lot over the past 5 years and i'm just really glad i don't have to do this anymore" holland faces life in prison. sentencing is scheduled for march 16. police arrested a woman-- wanted in connection to a fatal shooting two months ago. this is michelle horn. police say in november... horn

alexander nunez inside a home near flamingo and arville. police believe the shooting was drug related. minimum wage could be up to nevada voters. that's because a carson city district court judge has sided with minimum wage hike supporters... ruling language on a petition does not need to be changed. this means the state's minimumu wage could gradually raise to 13-dollars and hour. plan... the progressive leadership alliance of southern nevada says it is grateful for leaders who pushed this forward. la county, seattle, new york, people are raising the minimum wage. the costs of goods has gone up. we have stayed the same since 2009, our economy will never truly recover if we have thousands of people earning a poverty wage. backers must gather more than 55-thousand signatures to put the proposal on november's ballot. opponents say they are not sure if they will appeal this decision.

valley road got a little bit safer. she flips the switch to turn the lights on "1, 2, 3 [click]" today clark county commissioner marilyn kirkpatrick activated the street light at lake mead and sloan. this will help the ease up on traffic congestion as well as help pedestrians cross safely. "there's currently 25,000 vehicles that travel down lake mead every day so any time you have that volume of course you're going to have situations so tis is really making sure you can slow down the traffic that's coming and be sure that pedestrians can get from one side of the street to the other." this project is being paid for in part through fuel revenue indexing. this is money collected at the gas pump by having all of us pay a little more work on the mandalay bay convention center expansion is complete. according to vegas inc... mgm resorts says it has finished its 70-million dollar project. the center now has more than 2- million square feet of space.

are collected in the u.s. each year . but people aren't the only ones who need the help... pets do too. fox5's abby theodros tells us about a clinic offering blood transfusions for cats and dogs.... nats roger the boxer is a bit of a local celebrity at the vet emergency and critical care unit in las vegas. nats every couple of months he makes a trip to the clinic to help a fellow pup in need. samantha raymond: he has been donating for almost two years samantha raymond is roger's owner and says she first heard about animal blood transfusions when her last dog was in dire need of the service following a medical procedure. following the transfusion process - she knew she had to pay it forward. raymond: im so glad that we can help others i cant imagine how i would have felt if my last dog could not have gotten the help that he needed from another dog i think its a great program. and im so happy to do it. the program is the las vegas animal blood bank and it gives animals in the

products. however- for all the good work that the clinic does - they're is one minor problem... kelly tantalo, technician supervisor: since we are supplying for all of las vegas - on top of ours - the demand is pretty high. so right now we have several blood donors currently but we need a lot more so we're definitely lookokg for quite a few tantalo says that on a daily basis the clinic conducts several blood or plasma transfusions - assisting cats and dogs with anything from trauma cases to general recovery. recently a couple of their donors have retired out of the program - making a new class of donors more important than ever. tantalo: we have to retire our donors once they turn 8 years old so we lose a lot of them because of that. and so thats kind of where they're at right now. is just trying to find those newer ones those younger ones so we can have them for their 8 years and have them help out. and the experience is worth it. nats breathing just ask 5-year donor mack... david and denise heck : started about 5 years ago its been probably one of the most rewarding weve ever done this has a direct impact on saving a dogs life. they normally call us when they have a need and they're out of blood and we come right away. we're on a 24 hour emergency call so

"we found the worst lead in water contamination that i've seen in 25 years and believe me i've seen a lot."
