for drivers and tourists. this is a live picture from that area. right now there are no crews in sight... and its not causing any delays. some people on social media... thought the police cars and activity from this officer involved shooting was part of the movie filming. the trail has been set for the man accused of shooting a metro officer late last year. teag fox was indicted on attempted murder charges-- on december 17-- he shot officer gregory sedminik -- while he was responding to a domestic disturbance call at the emerald suites on las vegas boulevard and pebble. fox then led police on a six hour manhunt. he has pleaded not-guilty to the charges. his trial has been scheduled for july 25th. officer sedminik is recovering. metro police sent a special task force to evict squatters from a northwest valley home. after months of complaints from

four suscpects are in custody... they are jesse jordan and jacquese shockley - who police say took over a house and used it as a crime hub. last night-- the operation lasted around an hour, after calling out several times-- swat entered the house, they found no one inside... later in the night two of the suspects came back to the home, one is being charged with posession of meth... police say usually when they respond to these types of squatter cases they come across more illegal activity... house was deteriorated not taken care of, we found some illegal weapons in there , we found evicence of illegal drug use, and were investigating now a fraud lab being run from inside of neighbors in the area say the over the house in june, this isnt the first squatter problem they've had. biggest obsticle is original home owner, and having them name victim so they

two of the suspects are in custody and two more still out there. police are looking for the man-- they say shot another man in the parking lot of a valley apartment complex. police say last night around 9:30 a man was waiting next to his car in the parking lot near near cheyenne and nellis. when the suspect approached him and shot several times. the suspect then jumped the wall of the complex and took off. the victim was taken to u-m-c where he died. the suspect is described as a black male with a thin build... he was last scene getting into a white s-u-v. information on this shooting is crimestoppers at 702-385-55-55. the winter storm on the east coast is taking a toll on travelers here in the valley. officials at mccarran international airport-- say the problems could spill over into next week. for tomorrow, on the schedules, we already had about 30 cancelations, and we expect that number to increase, as the weather situation progresses

fox5's abby more about the project and what it could mean for the university... and the city. doesn't look like much now but a 42 by the university of produce something big. reggie riggins, unlv student: unlv is always improving and i think the more they keep moving forward the better. their latest venture towards the future is a $50 million dollar purchase of 42 acres of land along tropicana and koval. the university announced their plans to expand their campus - possibly using the land for a new football stadium or a campus village. students like senior - daniel tafoy say a sports facility closer to the campus would get more people in stadium seats. right now the rebels play their home games 7 miles from campus. daniel tafoya, unlv student: the football stadium is really far away right now so im more opted to not go especially considering that i commute to campus already for bio major reggie riggins - a community village that would house research facilities for medical and dental students is rehan welcome...

united states. now one local organization wants to change that statistic. "5:50- we're taking depressed veterans, we're getting them out of isolation, they're getting out and having fun on the bikes.
