dollars. according to n-v energy... they have supported the net metering rates for solar customers... so they dont pass rate hikes to non-solar customers. nv energy's proposal to allow customers to remain on old rules would last for 20 years... the p-u-c would have to approve their proposal.... which they will discuss february 8th. a woman is found murdered in north las vegas... fox five's elizabeth watts is live near where it happened near civic center and owens. it happened in a home on ferguson avenue.. and police believe it was a domestic violence situation.

the woman's body around ten this morning at a home on ferguson avenue. that's near civic center and evans. the suspect was in the area... and he was arrested in connection to the case. police say there may have been a domestic situation between the suspect and victim... but have not said how they are related. this is the second homicide for north las vegas. the first was on new year's day. police have determined the identiity of a gunman on the strip.... who was fired at - by an officer. police say the suspect is khaleal black. investigators needed help identifying him over the weekend. black was arrested friday night... after police say he aimed a firearm at people near the bellagio fountains. officer george smith confronted black.. metro says black failed to follow commands - and the officer fired his gun at the missed. a child was and was treated before being released. another bullet went through a man's clothing... hurt. black was several felony charges. the street in a by a car. around 4-30 this
