n-v energy has said they supported the net metered hikes because according to them... it keeps rates down for non solar customers. a woman is found murdered in north las vegas... fox five's elizabeth watts is live near where it happened near civic center and owens. it happened in a home on ferguson avenue.. and police believe it was a domestic violence situation. officers found the woman's body around ten this morning at a home on ferguson avenue. that's near civic center and evans. the suspect was in the area... and he was arrested in connection to the case. police say there may have been a domestic situation between the suspect and victim... but have not said how they are related.

his gun at the suspect - but missed. a child was grazed in the leg... and was treated at the hospital before being released. another bullet went through a man's clothing... but he was not hurt. black was arrested for several felony charges. metro police confirm to fox5 the case against singer chris brown has been suspended. according to officer laura meltzer there was insufficient evidence.. but the case could be reopened if the police department receives additional information. police said on january second, a woman claimed she was hurt in an altercation involving brown during a party at the palms. the victim said she was attending a party inside a hotel room, and the incident took place over a cell phone, when she tried to take a picture of brown. the wife of a retired metro sergeant has made progress - since suffering the sudden symptoms of a rare brain condition. according to her husband, john sheahan... kristi opened her eyes this morning and was responding to questions. nurses were able to take her off

new violence in europe. the militant organization has released a video - that claims to show the terrorists who carried out the november attacks in france. benjamin hall reports from london. isis -- out with a graphic new video...threatening more european attacks. the militants claim it shows nine of the terrorists who carried out the deadly november thirteenth rampage in paris...planning the violence. in the video, the men are seen beheading prisoners...as well as shooting another in the head. the video reportedly shot in isis-controlled territory before paris... as all nine attackers died in or after the attacks. in the video, the group also specifically threatens to attack britain...and prime minister david cameron. french president - francois hollande - responding monday during a state visit to india.

from an orange county jail friday- are still in the region. "these three are extremely dangerous felons and need to be apprehended and brought into custody immediately." one inmate is accused of murder and another accused of torture. police say the escapees cut through a quarter-inch metal plate - crawled through unsecured plumbing tunnels to the roof - and rappelled four to five stories - using sheets. orange county has a large number of vietnamese- americans - and investigators believe two of the men may be embedded in the community. "we think there's obviously ties, based on the fact that one of the individuals is a documented vietnamese gang member. we think that it's a strong possibility that he may have connected with those gang members in the vietnamese community." there were two head counts conducted at the prison on friday. investigators say a fight that happened in the evening may have been staged to distract and delay the second head count. . at step forward today - in solving the contaminated water crisis - in
